We are TAPED at the Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana as Showdown 49 is on the air! Tonight marks the second to last Showdown. In the main event tonight will be "The Elite Savior" Carlos Shotgun versus Pike "The Preacher" Lorenzo in their first singles battle ever. That and much more! We go to the ring as we're ready to open up the evening with some wrestling action.

- Opening Match -
Chris Zero vs Kazadine the Dark Prince

Kazadine gets disrobed by his daughter Paige as Zero mocks him. Kazadine barks a couple times as the ref calls for the bell and this match is underway. Kazadine steps up but Zero circles around him. Zero leans over the ropes and yells something at Paige and then sidesteps Kazadine who tries to attack. Zero laughs it off and chews some gum. He goes in to lock up and Kazadine starts to get pushed back, before he holds his ground and launches Zero to the canvas. Kazadine flexes his arms.

Kazadine goes to lock up with Zero and gets him in an armbar and Zero steps through it and sweeps his leg from underneath him. Zero stands his ground as Kazadine gets back to his feet and charges in. Zero catches him with a Hip Toss and then gets behind Kazadine and turns it in to a Head Scissors on the ground. Kazadine's locked in that leg chokehold and is almost about to tap out.

Paige gets up in the apron and distracts the ref and taunts Zero for a second. Zero squeezes harder, before releasing the hold and stepping up towards her. Paige doesn't move, she talks all kinds of trash, as she points at Zero's head. And Zero grabs her finger and shakes his head, mouthing the words, "no way." Kazadine comes from behind from the roll up and the one, two and a kick out well before the three! Zero steps up and Kazadine goes for the Heart Punch but Zero sidesteps it and takes Kazadine down with a drop toehold as he rushes in again. Chris Zero back to his feet first.

Zero: "Lights Out!"

Kazadine turns right into a superkick! Kazadine drops like a sack of potatoes and Zero falls on top of him for the pin. One, two, and Paige tries to get up on the apron to distract the ref, but he slaps his hand to the mat for the three!

Winner: Chris Zero

After the match, Paige enters the ring and gets up in Zero's face. Zero steps back and goes for a Super Kick and stops right in front of her face, the audiences lets out a sigh of a relief. Then the heat starts to pour in for Zero as he backs up and laughs at Paige. He exits the ring and she tends to her dad, who is still unconscious on the mat.

The scene opens backstage with Nita Spankee who has a wide smile on her face as she holds the microphone.

Nita: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… Carlos Shotgun.

Shotgun enters the scene and the fans are heard booing in the background.

Nita: Shotgun, it has been quite a controversial week in the XWF. Do you have any words for the criticism you received this week?

Shotgun shrugs and looks at the camera. Right before he can speak Rage walks in the scene and looks down at Shotgun as the fans are heard cheering in the background.

Rage: You think he cares? Do you really not know him by now? He loves being the center of attention. Knowing him, he wishes he took things further.

Shotgun grows completely serious as he looks at Rage.

Rage: You act all cocky as if you were bulletproof but I know better. You can beat everyone you want Shotgun. You can act oblivious to the world but the whole world knows that no matter how good you say you are, I have crippled you not once, but twice and I did it cleanly in the middle of the ring.

The fans are heard chanting “Rage gonna kill you” in the background.

Rage: Showdown 50 is almost upon us. I want you to watch as I send Dustin Holt running home in a pool of blood. After I get rid of him I will just walk around putting people in their place and teaching them a lesson.

Shotgun remains silent as Rage continues.

Rage: And I’m sure an arrogant asshole like you are just bound to wind up on my path once again. I’m not done with you Shotgun. You career is mine. Pike can try all he wants but in the end, you belong to me. Good luck out there tonight, and remember… I’ll be watching.

Rage walks away as Shotgun looks annoyed. Nita is seen looking nervous as Shotgun walks away and the scene fades to commercial.

The Dark Stranger vs Josh Knight

Knight tries arguing with the ref before the match and the referee walks over to check Dark Stranger out. Stranger looks offended and can't wait for the referee to call for the bell. When he does, Stranger rushes over, but Knight rolls out of the ring and shrugs it all off. Knight starts walking around the ring as Stranger slides out. Knight does a mini jog over to the commentator's table. Stranger runs around the corner and Knight quickly slides in the ring. Stranger slides in behind him and Knight connects with a sitdown dropkick! Knight calls for the pin, one, and a quick kick out by Stranger.

Knight goes off the ropes and drops an elbow, he makes a cover, and tries to keep Stranger's shoulders to the mat. One, two and Stranger manages to shove Knight all the way off of him and he even bumps in to the ref. Knight rolls to his feet and goes for "Extreme Drop" (Zig Zag) but Stranger shakes him off. Stranger grabs him by the throat and Knight hammers on his arm to fight it off. Stranger delivers a hard right hand and a few more that rattle Knight back in to the corner. Stranger backs up a couple steps and comes in, nailing him with a boot to the face!

Stranger picks Knight up on the top turnbuckle and fans rise to the feet as Stranger hooks for a Suplex, but Knight blocks it, and Stranger pulls him in for a headbutt, and another headbutt! And he hooks Knight up again and stands all the way up on the top with him, before dropping him with a brutal Superplex! The fans in the arena are heard cheering loudly for Stranger in Bloomington, Indiana. Dark Stranger looks dazed himself but then rolls over and goes for the pin on Josh Knight, one, two, and Knight gets a should up at the last second. Knight tries to get up but looks hobbled on that left leg, grabbing at his thigh and limping around. Stranger comes out of nowhere and clotheslines him to the ground!

Stranger looks in the camera and turns his head sideways, he puts his fingers to his mouth, and does "shh". Fans are heard booing as he backs up and waits for Knight to get off the canvas, he snatches him by the neck and raises him off the canvas for "Darkness Falls" (Chokeslam) and drops him in the center of the ring! He slowly falls to his knees, and looks over Knight a second before finally hooking a leg, one, two, and he gets the three count! Stranger hovers there a moment and then slowly rises to his feet.

Winner: The Dark Stranger

The Dark Stranger backs up slowly and admires his work. Stranger dips out of the ring.

Stranger: "I have your souls!"

Stranger walks up the ramp and Josh Knight starts to roll to a knee. Stranger suddenly stops in his tracks at the top of the ramp and starts to head back to the ring. Chico and Manic are going nuts over this thing and so are some fans! Stranger gets in the ring and Knight hobbles to his feet. Knight stands there, grasping his ribs, as he stares up at Stranger. Knight puts his hand out, and Stranger just stands there. Fans are eating it up, as Stranger finally reaches over, pats him on the back, looks down at his hand and grabs him by the throat instead. Knight tries to fight it off but Stranger delivers another devilish chokeslam! Stranger looks down at him, and tilts his head to the side. Some referees start to rush to the ring and Stranger lets them tend to him.

Out of nowhere Stranger clotheslines an EMT out of the ring and clothesline another out of the ring! He picks up a referee and Gorilla Presses him over the top rope. Another referee tries to reason with him and he uppercuts him! All the other refs hop out of the ring. Stranger looks down at Knight and that's when the Puppets, Ryan Ryder and The Ray run out to save everyone from this massacre.

Stranger steps away from Knight and listens to Ryder and Ray. He looks to the side and contemplates what to do next. He then punches Ray and boots Ryder in the face. Ray comes back with a punch that lands on Stranger's shoulder and Stranger looks back at him like that was a bad idea. Stranger clobbers Ray with another right, and another right and pummels him in to the mat. Ryder charges in and Stranger scoops him off the ground and Gorilla Press Slams him to the outside! Ray is on his knees, pleading with Stranger, to quit all this nonsense. Stranger looks out at the fans booing him and he snatches the Ray by the face, he palms his face and lifts The Ray off the ground.

Stranger: "Your Soul is Mine!"

Stranger picks Ray off the ground for a Gorilla Press and tosses him out on to Ryan Ryder as he's standing back up on the outside. Stranger sees Knight trying to crawl to him, Stranger snatches him up off the ground and turns him over for "The Darkness" and plants him with it! Fans are still giving Stranger heat as he stands up and uses his boot to roll Knight on his side. Stranger examines him for a few more seconds before hopping out of the ring like nothing happened, and walks backstage.

Chico: "I'd hate to be any one of those guys participating in the Battle Royale!"

Manic: "They're going to have to deal with the 'Heel from Hell'. 'The Demon of Destruction' is on a path, for just that."

The camera fades.

We cut backstage, to the President's office.

Lars: "So, let me just go on record, as to saying right now. I've given this long thought, and after some deliberation. I've decided that a 20 man, over the top Battle Royal, next Showdown, on the Final Showdown, should go down!"

Fans in the arena cheer.

Lars: "That's not all though, they'll be stars... past and present.. all jam-packed inside that squared-circle on Showdown Fifty. Ranging from, Wrestling's Made Men, to Hayden Truesdale, to Jon Hampton, if he shows up.. to newcomers such as Josh Knight, and Chris Zero.. or even guys like Blaze Rodriguez, and The Dark Stranger who have been here awhile. All kinds of guys have a chance to pull this one out, and we'll see who steps up to the rest. Yeah."

The camera man starts to turn away and Lars snaps his finger at him.

Lars: "Hey! Wake up. That's not all.. the winner of this thing.. will become the new number one contender for the Xtreme Title, and the first episode.. of our new show.. that winner will headline against Mr. Xtreme Mania, Chris Falkenyork in a classic Xtreme Championship showdown! Well, it won't be on 'Showdown', it'll be on the new show... but, it is guaranteed to be a massacre!"

President Lars Douglas flashes a smile and the scene fades out.

"The Real Mercy Killer" Robert Mastro vs Marcus "The Wolf" Andrews - Chairs Match

Marcus Andrews makes his way first to the boos of the crowd. He looks around all pumped up and ready to go as Robert Mastro makes his way out to loud ovation from the fans. He has a chair in hand which he raises up and then points at Andrews.

The ringside area has several chairs scattered around as Mastro confidently walk around the ring looking directly at Andrews. He finally slides in, chair still in hand, and waits as the referee checks on both men and signals for the bell to ring and the match officially begins.

Mastro charges at Dargue with the chair but Andrews wastes no time rolling. The fans boo as Andrews points to his head then turns around and screams at the fans who are taunting him. Mastro charges the ropes and nails a baseball slide that catches Andrews on the outside. Andrews hits the protective railing as Mastro follows behind and slams Andrews’ head off it. Andrews bounces off and walks away stunned getting some distance.

Mastro charges at Andrews with a big clothesline but Andrews counters with a drop toe hold which sends Mastro down to the protective mat. Andrews smiles as he grabs a chair and points at Mastro and nods his head. He swings back and unloads with a huge chair shot but Mastro rolls out at the last second. Andrews lets go of the chair after the impact hurts his hand and Mastro gets to his feet and nails him with big lefts and rights. Andrews is stunned as Mastro tosses him back into the ring and slides in a chair.

Mastro gets inside the ring and picks up Andrews by the hair. He whips him hard against the turnbuckle and Andrews hits back first before landing in a sitting position. Mastro charges after Andrews and drives his knee right to the face of Andrews to a load reaction from the fans. Mastro looks around before looking at the chair and picking it up. He hands it to Andrews and places it on his face.

Mastro gets some distance and looks around before charging once more and driving his knee into the chair right to Andrews face. Andrews falls down holding his face and looks to be in bad shape. Mastro grabs the chair again, steps back and hits Andrews across the back once, twice, three times. Andrews screams after each one and tries to crawl away.

The fans scream as Mastro hits Andrews with all his strength across the back. Andrews is not moving as Mastro signals for the end and sets up the chair in the middle of the ring. He picks up Andrews up and drops him right on the chair with a cradle pile driver. Mastro sits up and looks at Andrews who is knocked out cold. He looks at the fans.

Crowd: "We want chairs! We want chairs!"

Mastro gets up and complies as he grabs the chair and hits Andrews across the midsection once, twice, three more times. Mastro looks around, runs the ropes before swinging a fourth time with everything he has. The fans groan as Andrews just looks to be dead. Mastro pins Andrews, 1… 2… 3!

Winner: "The Real Mercy Killer" Robert Mastro

After the match the referee raises Mastro's hand high in the air. The referee goes to walk away but Mastro turns him around and smashes him with a chairshot! The crowd cheers! The fans are still buzzing as Mastro’s grabs a microphone. He looks at the fans and then gazes at the bent chair lying on the mat. He smiles and begins to speak.

Mastro: Do you still doubt me? Do you still not believe in me? Chris Falkenyork… do you see what I can do? How many times must I beat up these losers in order to prove myself? How long must I come out here and show that I am without a doubt the single most XTREME superstar in XWF history?

Mastro looks around frustrated.

Mastro: I have done everything that has been asked of me and I still get looked over. I am done asking for what is mine. I am taking it. The Elite think they have an iron grip? They don’t! Chris Falkenyork walks around holding something that he hasn’t earned. Falkenyork is not Xtreme, I AM. Chris Falkenyork, you and The Elite have been a thorn on my side for far too long. It’s time I take something from you. Your title, the XTREME title, will soon be mine. I deserve to be a champion and mark my words, sooner rather than later I will be.

Mastro drops the microphone and receives an ovation from the sold out crowd as he makes his way to the back. The scene fades to commercial.

Tag Champion "Hollywood Poet" Jive vs "Happy Go Lucky" Ace vs "The Dynasty" Mike Dimter - Xtreme Rules

Ace comes out first as glitter falls down from the ceiling. Ace dances down the ramp as the fans chant at him. He nods as he slides into the ring and points to his waist signaling he will soon be XWF tag team champion again.

Jive comes out next and he seems to be all business. He gets a strong reaction from the sold out crowd as he runs to the ring and stretches his arms confidently ready for a fight. He looks at Ace and shakes his head as his theme is cut off.

Mike Dimter comes out last and the fans give him a mixed reaction. Dimter seems to be in great shape as he makes his way to the ring. The announcers point out they are still flabbergasted about his promo earlier this week and the fans seem to agree.

The referee signals for the bell to ring and all three men stay in different corners. Dimter immediately charges at Ace who pokes him in the eye. Dimter holds his face and Jive hits him with a right hand, Ace hits him with a right of his own, Jive gives him another one, Ace gives him another one and Dimter falls to the ground. Ace and Jive stand and look at each other. Jive swings a right hand at Ace and Ace replies with a right of his own. Out of nowhere, Dimter goes for a double clothesline. Ace and Jive dick and Ace hits a punch right to the balls. Dimter opens his eyes wide as Jive follows up with a kick to the balls. Dimter seems like he’s going to explode as Ace grabs him from behind and takes him out with a ballplex.

The fans cheer as Dimter rolls to the outside holding his private area. Ashton Storm is seen running down to the ring with a concerned look on her face while Jive and Ace start brawling in the center ring. Jive whips Ace against the ropes and hits a knee to the midsection followed by a snap suplex. Jive follows up with a running elbow drop as Ashton checks on Dimter on the outside.

Jive picks up Ace by the hair and Ace counters with an European uppercut. Jive is knocked back and Ace takes him down with a clothesline. Jive gets up and Ace follows up with a slam. Ace climbs the second ropes and drops a leg drop before pinning 1… 2…. Kickout.

Ace grabs Jive and picks him up. Jive pushes Ace into the corner and drive his shoulder into the midsection. Jive follows with two strong punches before setting up Ace on the third rope. Jive looks around and leaps up and hooks Ace and takes him down with a top rope hurricanerana. Jive pins 1… 2… Dimter rushes the ring and breaks up the pin. He grabs Jive by behind and hits the “Liberty Bell” (skull crushing finale). Ashton throws Dimter a steel chair which he grabs and hits Ace right in the head. Dimter pins Gary 1… 2… 3!

Winner: "The Dynasty" Mike Dimter

The referee raises Dimter’s arm as Ashton slides in the ring and celebrates alongside him. Dimter pulls back his hand and grabs the steel chair again and looks down at Jive who is slowly getting back up. He tries to roll out of the ring but Ashton steps between the ropes and Jive. Jive looks at her confused as Dimter approaches with the chair. He measures Jive and swings but Jive moves out of the way catching Ashton instead right in the head.

Jive rolls out of the ring and Dimter drops down and checks on Ashton. The trainers rush to the ring to check as we cut to a commercial break.

Mitch Keller is backstage with Miranda Brooke.

Keller: I'm standing by with Miranda Brooke. Now Miranda, at our last pay per view, "King of Xtreme"... you were the victim of a sabotage by Rachael Manning, that resulted in a quick defeat. What are your feelings on what transpired?

Miranda: "To be honest, it hurt. It hurt to lose my first match like that. I've worked so hard to get to this point. To be a part of the XWF and this happens? I was heartbroken, honestly."

She whips her hair out of her face and refocuses.

Miranda: "But, it kinda lit a fire. Rachael! I'm not done with you yet. Not by a long shot. In fact, I want another match with you.. but this time, on Showdown. Since it'll be our last time to do it on Showdown, I am challenging you to a one-on-one match for the Final Showdown! What do you say girl? If you got enough fight in ya."

Keller: "Well, we'll be anxiously waiting her answer.."

Rachael comes up and bashes Miranda over the head with a lead pipe. She stands over top of her as Mitch Keller scurries off screen, to go get some help.

Rachael: "What do you got to say to me now Miranda? I beat you fair and square last time. That wasn't a sabotage, this.. this was a sabotage. And next time I beat you, I'm going to beat you within an inch of your life."

She starts to walk away and then bends over and gets in Miranda's face, putting her hand up to Miranda's face like she wants to claw her.

Rachael: "Then I'm going to snatch your final breath away, and fade in to distance."

She looks at her aggressively and then backs away and exits the scene. Keller rushes back up with an EMT and he looks at Miranda's head.

- Main Event -
"The Elite Savior" Carlos Shotgun vs Pike "The Preacher" Lorenzo

Big match feel tonight as the crowd is split down the middle for both Shotgun and Lorenzo. The referee calls for the bell as Shotgun is taunting Lorenzo with a prayer before giving him a crotch chop. Lorenzo lunges forward and takes Shotgun to the canvas as the crowd pops. Shotgun gets back to his feet but gets tripped from behind. Lorenzo goes off the ropes. Shotgun ducks a clothesline as Lorenzo turns around and blocks an armdrag attempt. Lorenzo goes for a clothesline and Shotgun ducks and rolls Lorenzo up for a cover. Lorenzo kicks out and rolls backwards as Shotgun grabs front facelock. Lorenzo gets back to his feet and hits a Northern Lights Suplex! One, two, kickout. Both men get back to their feet as the crowd applauds.

Shotgun is nodding his head at the crowd as Lorenzo looks on.

Shotgun: Not bad!

Shotgun goes for a right hand. Lorenzo blocks and hits a right. Right, right, Shotgun staggers into the ropes. Lorenzo goes for a whip, Shotgun counters and telegraphs a backdrop. Lorenzo hits a swinging neckbreaker and goes for a cover. One, two, kickout. Lorenzo stomps Shotgun's arm before grabbing an armbar. Shotgun sits himself up and tries to counter but Lorenzo applies additional pressure. The referee is checking on. Shotgun gets back to his feet and tries to snap Lorenzo over to the canvas. Lorenzo rolls through the throw and holds on to the armbar.

Shotgun gets back to his feet again and breaks free with a right hand. Right, left, Lorenzo pokes the eyes. Lorenzo goes off the ropes but runs right into a dropkick. Lorenzo bounces back to his feet and goes for a swing. Shotgun goes for a German Suplex. Lorenzo flips through and lands on his feet and charges over for a Holy Grail (Skull Crushing Finale) attempt. Shotgun breaks free and gets a double leg takedown. Shotgun is going for a Sharpshooter but Lorenzo counters into a small package pin. One, two, Shotgun kicks out!

Shotgun gets back to his feet but eats a forearm uppercut from Lorenzo. Another one connects. Shotgun staggers to one knee as Lorenzo hits the ropes. Shotgun pops up off the canvas and drops Lorenzo with a high standing dropkick. Shotgun goes for a cover. One, two, Lorenzo kicks out. Shotgun grabs a side headlock as the referee checks to make sure it's not a choke. Shotgun looks up at the referee and shakes his head with a smile on his face. Lorenzo tries to get back to his feet. Shotgun snaps him back down to the canvas and applies more pressure. Lorenzo reaches out towards the ropes as Shotgun shakes his head again. Lorenzo gets back to his feet. Lorenzo with a go behind, belly to back suplex connects!

The referee is about to start a ten count but Lorenzo gets back to his feet and goes for a cover. One, two, Shotgun kicks out. Lorenzo grabs a hold of Shotgun and goes for a whip into the corner. Shotgun stops short and tries to counter a Lorenzo charge with a jump. Lorenzo stops short as Shotgun lands on his feet. Lorenzo grabs Shotgun and hits a German Suplex into a pin! One, two, Shotgun kicks out before the three! Lorenzo looks up while shaking his head in disgust. Lorenzo gets back to his feet and signals to the crowd for a Holy Grail. Shotgun is slowly recovering as he tries to get back to his feet. Lorenzo is waiting behind him ready to strike.

Lorenzo sneaks up behind Shotgun and goes for a full nelson. Shotgun counters with a go behind and hits a German Suplex! The crowd is stirring as Shotgun maintains and rolls Lorenzo back to his feet for another German. Lorenzo goes for a back elbow. Shotgun ducks as Lorenzo spins around. Shotgun kicks Lorenzo in the midsection and calls out for the Bullet Bomb (Running Sitdown Powerbomb). Lorenzo backdrops Shotgun to counter! The crowd starts to stir as the attentions shifts over towards the rampway.

Manic: What's going on here?

Chico: I don't know.

Chris Falkenyork has made his way out but before he can get any further, Robert Mastro jumps him from behind! The crowd is going nuts as Lorenzo is pointing over towards Mastro and Falkenyork demanding the referee to restore some order. Mark Adkins has made his way out through the crowd as he's inside the ring waiting for Lorenzo to turn around! Lorenzo turns around as Adkins charges with a spear attempt. Lorenzo moves out of the way as Adkins spears the referee!

Winner: No Contest

Lorenzo grabs a hold of Adkins and goes for a Holy Grail but Shotgun decks him in the back of the head. York and Mastro are still on the outside hitting each other with lefts and rights. "Oddities" by Insane Clown Posse cues over the arena as we get another eruption from the crowd.

Manic: It's Jester! Jester!

The World Champion Shangri-La Jester rushes down towards the ring and slides under the ropes as Adkins looks up at his opponent for Jaded. Adkins just stands there as Jester taunts him to bring it on.

Manic: What the hell is going to happen next?

Chico: We're out of time!
