We are TAPED at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York as Showdown Episode Twenty Eight is on the air. There is no shortage of great matches tonight. Topping it all off will be Rage defending his championship against Wrestling Made Men's Michael Dargue.

Before our opening contest, the camera cuts to the parking lot area as a black stretch limo is pulling up. The camera cuts over as Mister Lucente makes his way out. Everyone still cannot believe it as Lucente has not been heard from ever since Lars Douglas has taken the position as XWF President. Mitch Keller is standing by.
Keller: "Mister Lucente.."
Lucente stops walking and turns his head towards Keller.
Keller: "We haven't heard or seen you since.."
Lucente: "That's enough Keller! I'm not here to talk to you. I'm here to talk to someone else."
Lucente walks away as we go back to ringside.

Eric Draven vs Blaze Rodriguez
Draven is already in the ring when “Blaze of Glory” by Bon Jovi plays and out comes Blaze Rodriguez to a strong reaction from the crowd. Blaze looks to be completely recharged and ready to run with the ball. The bell ring and both men immediately lock up. Blaze pushes Draven down and immediately follows up with a running drop kick. Draven rolls back to the corner and Blaze stomps him into the turnbuckle not leaving him a chance to recover.
Blaze looks around at the fans before he delivers a big boot to the face. Draven is in big trouble as Blaze comes in for the kill. He grabs Draven by the hair and Draven fires off some big shots to the mid-section. Blaze is momentarely stunned and Draven takes advantage and rakes him in the eyes. The referee warns Draven who shrugs it off and whips Blaze into the ropes. Blazes bounces off into a beautiful shining wizard as the fans cheer loudly.
Blaze picks Draven up and nails a running bulldog before motioning for the end. Blaze climbs up the ropes when Draven gets up and trips him down. Draven fires a series of lefts and right hands rocking Blaze back. Blaze grabs Draven and hits a hard headbutt. He jumps down the rope and blocks a punch before delivering another shot of his own and sending Draven back into the turnbuckle.
Blaze drives his shoulder into Draven’s midsection over and over before picking him up and placing him on the top rope. Blaze gets up on the second rope and hits a couple of more shots for good measure. Blaze hooks Draven and climbs the third rope and drops him down with the Ring of Fire, aka The Flux Capacitor. Blaze hooks the leg 1… 2…. 3!
The announcers note how impressive Blaze looked and congratulate him on a great victory. The fans show a lot of support as Blaze stands in the middle of the ring victorious.

The Ray is backstage pacing back and fourth as Mitch Keller walks up to him.
Ray: "What do you want?"
Keller: "Just a little curious as to what you're doing here. You're not scheduled tonight."
Ray: "Big shocker isn't it? Yeah I want to know why the man that everyone paid to see isn't wrestling yet the Dark Stranger who is still delusional is!"
The Dark Stranger walks into the picture as the crowd pops. Ray looks up at his ex tag team partner.
Ray: "Yeah I'm talking about you Stranger! What are you going to do about it?"
Stranger: "Nothing."
Ray: "Really? Why is it because you don't want to hurt your good old tag team partner?"
Stranger: "Oh Ray you have it all wrong. I miss you Ray. I really really miss the days where Ray of Darkness was the best tag team in the world but that just wasn't good enough was it? You think I was the one to hold you down when it was me who was keeping you relevant this entire time! Ray.. If it has to be this way.. Then fine. At Dead End.. You and me, one on one."
Ray: "You really want some of this?"
Stranger: "Some? Not just some Ray. I want to tear you apart from HEAD to TOE!"
The crowd pops as Ray steps back.
Ray: "We'll see what's left of you after Lorenzo gets done."
Stranger: "You think so? Watch what happens Ray."
Stranger walks off.

We get a shot of the crowd on hand as Showdown returns from a commercial break. President Lars Douglas is in the ring circling around with a smile stretched from ear to ear. The camera cuts over towards the entrance way as XWF Owner Mister Lucente makes his way out to a big ovation from the crowd. Lucente doesn't stop to wave or play up to the crowd as it appears he's all business tonight. Danielle Worley sits on the middle rope and holds the top rope up for Lucente to enter as he goes for a microphone.
Lucente: "Now I know I said I was here to talk to President Lars Douglas and maybe that gave people the impression that I was going to downplay everything he's done here. Lars has been doing a good job. I expected that he would do a good job here.. That's why he's the President afterall! No no no.. This isn't about Lars. This is about someone else."
Douglas: "Oh yeah?"
Lucente: "Yeah. Someone who's standing behind the curtain right now because he has a match after I'm done talking here. Mark Adkins.. I know you're there because I walked right by you to come out here. Lets just skip the music and all that jazz and just get out here okay?"
Douglas appears somewhat confused right now. Mark Adkins walks through the curtains with a microphone in hand.
Adkins: "Is this good for you?"
Lucente: "I don't want you over there. I want you.. In here."
Adkins: "You want me? Come on Mike we're both married men I don't think our wives would approve of that."
Adkins shakes his head before continuing his walk down the eisle. Adkins enters the ring and circles around Lucente. Douglas continues to look on.
Lucente: "I've been thinking for the last week about what I was going to say to you once I got you inside this ring. I just knew that with the announcement of Adkins main eventing Dead End for the World Championship that.. Now was the time for me to speak up. I don't have anything planned right now so I'm just going to tell you what's going through my mind right now."
Before Lucente can continue, Adkins hits him with an End on Five (RKO). Douglas's eyes pop out of his head as he can't believe Adkins just did that. The crowd cannot believe it either as Adkins casually picks up the microphone.
Adkins: "It's the canvas that's running through your mind right now."
Adkins looks up towards Douglas.
Adkins: "I've been overthinking lately instead of just.. Going with what works which is.. What shot me to the top of this business in the first place. What was Mike going to say? Who knows.. Who cares.. I don't care. I don't care just like Rage doesn't care about you Lars because if he did I'm sure.. He would come out here right now to make sure that his buddy Lars Douglas didn't end up the same way that Michael Lucente ended up. Just a thought right? Just a thought."
Lucente is being rolled out of the ring by personnel as Adkins slowly walks up towards Douglas with a sinister look on his face. Before Adkins can do anything to Douglas, Cliff Saxton jumps him from behind.

Tag Team Champion Cliff Saxton vs Mark Adkins
Saxton continues his attack on Adkins with big heavy punches. Adkins fires back an elbow which cuts off Saxton’s momentum. Adkins whips Saxton, Saxton bounces off and Adkins leap frogs. Saxton puts the brakes on which catches Adkins off guard. Saxton drop kicks Adkins into the ropes. Adkins leans on them momentarely stunned and Saxton rushes at him. Adkins counters by tossing him over the tope rope in the outside.
Saxton hits the mat hard as Adkins regains his composure in the ring. He shakes it off and looks at Saxton who is getting up on the outside. Adkins looks around and shrugs his shoulders as he runs the ropes and dives to the outside into Saxton. They are driven into the barricade as the fans cheer and start chanting “TV-MA”.
Adkins gets up and grabs Saxton by the hair. He slams his head off the barricade which causes Saxton to be rocked back. He leans on the turnbuckle and Adkins shoulder tackle him from behind into the post. Saxton hits it hard and drop to the mat.
Adkins tells Saxton that he’s been waiting for this payback before kicking him in the head. Adkins rolls into the ring and breaks up the ten count before rolling back to the outside. Adkins bounces Saxton’s head against the announcer’s table and Chico begs them to leave them alone. Adkins grabs a bottle of water and throws it at Chico before bouncing Saxton’s head once more.
The fans are hot for the action as Adkins whips Saxton into the steel steps. Saxton reverses and sends Adkins flying into them shoulder first instead. Saxton breathes heavily while Adkins is seen holding his shoulder in pain. The ref checks on him as the announcers speculate Adkins might have received some serious damage.
Saxton recovers and goes after Adkins. He hits a hard kick to the shoulder. Adkins groans in pain before Saxton rolls him into the ring. Saxton grabs Adkins arm and twists it. Adkins is visibly hurting as Saxton pulls down on it. Saxton follows up with an arm drag. Adkins gets up and Saxton hits a big pump handle slam. Saxton pins 1… 2… kickout!
The fans come alive as Saxton gets up and proceeds to stomp down on Adkins. Adkins rolls out of the way and gets to his feet. Adkins hits a big leg kick on Saxton. He nails another one which causes Saxton to drop to one knee. Immediately Adkins hits The Guttermouth. Saxton flies back from the superkick and looks to be out cold. Adkins immediately climbs the top rope before raising his arms. Adkins hits the Lake Shore Drive on Saxton.
Adkins looks down at Saxton and shakes his head. He still isn’t satisfied. He grabs Saxton by the hair and hits him with The End of 5. Adkins smiles as he looks at Saxton and nods in approval. Adkins hooks the leg and pins 1…. 2….. 3!
Adkins looks down at Saxton.
Adkins: "Payback is a bitch.”

Static fills the screen and then titan tron goes blank. The letters typed up on the screen read '_HE __N_IC___'. Mark Adkins continues to walk around the ring watching the video that is playing. A muffled Voice is heard over the loud speakers.
Voice: "I see you have your plans for Dead End already set in place."
The crowd is silent as Adkins appears somewhat confused.
Voice: "Good.. The XWF has been travelling the same, similar road.. That it's currently on now. It's been down this path before and seemingly everytime.. With someone new at the helm. The question is who will it be this time? How will this company end this year and begin another? For some we are use to this routine. We've seen this transition many times. This time feels a little different. The world is suppose to end in twenty twelve. It could.. For many people. Twenty thirteen is looming on the horizon. Do we just plan for that?"
Adkins continues to look on.
Voice: "Nothing is guaranteed. Not in wrestling. Not in life. The only thing for sure.. We all have to answer to someone. At the end of the day. We all must come face to face and meet our maker. We must come to terms with reality and we better do that in a hurry. For some. Dead End is around the corner. The last stop on the End of the World Tour and how will it all end? Is there a plan? Is someone pulling the strings? Has it all already been decided? Who knows? Everything will be different this time. The year twenty twelve will end.. The way it's expected. Unexpected to some. But reality for most. At the end of the day.. Expected.. Or unexpected.. Doesn't matter. The question isn't.. If it will happen. It's when and how.. You know one thing... Know this.. We.. Are.. Coming! Know this.. People.. The people of the world as you know it.. Things will certainly. One day. And soon. Come to an abrupt.. End."
The screen turns to static. Everyone just stunned in to silence and a small buzz is in the air.

Monster by Lady Gaga plays as The Dark Stranger comes out with his manager… Lady Gaga. Stranger walks down the ring looking determined as the announcers note Stranger hasn’t forgotten about The Ray walking out on him and costing him the tag team championships.
Pike Lorenzo walks out with a microphone in hand to an immediate chorus of boos. Pike does the cross sign in the air and blesses everyone before he begins to speak.
Lorenzo: “Blessed are thou my brothers. The lord loves each and every one of you.”
The fans boo and the announcers note that booing a Preacher might be wrong.
Lorenzo: “I know that you all boo me because you are confused. You are all ashamed about your heathenish lifestyles, about you ignorance about the lord. But fear not my brethren for I am Pike Lorenzo and I care about each and every one of you.”
Pike walks down the ramp calmly as he smiles to the fans near the barricades.
Lorenzo: “Don’t you people get it? All I want is to guide you through the path of righteousness! Would you rather turn out like that man in the ring? The Dark Stranger?”
The fans cheer The Dark Stranger who stands in the ring staring at Lorenzo.
Lorenzo: “This man is a blatant blasphemist. He will burn in the fires of hell unless someone forces him to repent. Fear not for I will give this demon a beating until he has no choice but to accept the lord Jesus Christ as his savior. With a little work, even that dirty, whorish, diabolical prostitute Lady GaGa can be forgiven as well. God bless you, all of you.”

Pike Lorenzo vs The Dark Stranger
Gaga looks angrily at Pike who just signals the cross at her and says a little prayer. Pike gets into the ring and immediately Stranger swarms on him with big left and right hands as the fans explode. Pike is rocked as Stranger puts him in the turnbuckle and gives him a hard chop. The fans love it as Pike holds his chest in pain. The announcers point out that beating a Preacher getting beat up is a weird sight to behold.
Stranger charges into Pike but Pike ducks out of the way which cause Stranger to hit the turnbuckle hard. Pike follows up with a hard enziguri bringing the big man down. Pike drops down and nails a series of punches to Stranger’s head. The referee warns him and Pike respectfully backs up before getting up motioning blessing to the crowd for massive boos.
Pike grabs Stranger by the head who sits up and puts his hand across Pike’s throat. Pike is shocked as Stranger gets up and keeps a firm grip. Pike hits a desperation kick to the midsection and Stranger lets go. Pike fires back with a clothesline that sends Stranger down. Stranger gets up and Pike drops him with a back breaker. Pike pins Stranger 1… 2… kickout.
Gaga cheers on the outside as Pike looks somewhat annoyed. He gets up and looks down at Stranger. He kicks him hard in the back of the head once, twice. Pike smiles and looks at the fans who immediately boo him. Pike nods his head when Stranger rolls up and hits a big haymaker that sounds Pike down. Stranger gets Pike up and drops him with a big sidewalk slam. Stranger gets up and looks at the fans who cheer in approval.
Stranger signals for the end and the fans light up. Pike gets up dazed and Stranger picks him up for a tombstone. Pike wiggles his legs and slips out which causes Stranger by surprise. Pike hits a big knee to the midsection and hooks Strangers head and nails a tornado DDT. Immediately Pike goes up the rope rope, extends his hands in the form of the cross before dropping frontwards into a headbutt. Pike hooks the leg 1….2…. 3!
The fans boo as The Preacher gets on his knees and thanks the lord for his big win.

The cameras cut backstage as Robert Mastro is sitting down on a bench. Ki Morbid and The Hellion walk into the picture. Mastro looks up with a concerned look on his face.
Mastro: "I don't like this."
Ki: "What is there not to like?"
Mastro: "I don't want you to get hurt Ki."
Mastro looks at Hellion.
Mastro: "I guess you too."
Hellion just shakes his head with a look of agitation.
Hellion: "You ain't gotta worry about either one of us Robert. Ki and I do things in bed that make what Holt did last Showdown look like some bullcrap out of preschool. Isn't that right baby?"
Mastro turns his head away.
Mastro: "That's not cool."
Hellion: "Oh cheer up numbnuts I'll buy you a beer after we're done taking care of this closet vagina okay? Come on baby lets go."
Ki and Hellion head out the door.

Xtreme Champion Dustin Holt vs The Hellion & Ki Morbid
The Hellion and Ki Morbid come out to a big ovation from the crowd as the two of them look to teach Dustin Holt a lesson tonight. Holt comes out second to an even bigger reaction as the crowd shows their respect for the two time Xtreme Champion. Holt enters the ring as Hellion and Ki strategize in the corner. The referee calls for the bell as Holt waits for one of them to confront him. Ki wants in but Holt yells for Hellion to bring it on. Hellion charges and ducks a swing from Holt. Hellion hits a right, right, right, left. Holt pokes him in the eye and whips Hellion off the ropes. Hellion flies off the ropes with a diving forearm as Holt falls to the mat. Holt back up and Hellion hits another right hand. Hellion whips Holt off the ropes and ducks. Holt kicks Hellion in the head and drops him with a standing dropkick. Ki shouts support towards Hellion as Holt picks him up and dropkicks him again.
Holt gets back to his feet and starts to taunt Ki who charges into the ring. The referee yells at her to get back into the corner as Holt snapmares Hellion into a headlock. Holt continues to keep the pressure on as Hellion tries to get to his feet. Hellion hits an elbow to break the headlock. Holt grabs Hellion by the hair and slams him back down to the canvas. Holt covers. One.. Two.. Hellion kicks out. Holt picks up Hellion and tosses him into the corner. Holt goes for the attack and Hellion kicks him in the midsection. Kick, kick, Hellion hits a clothesline and looks into the corner. Ki stretches her arm out for a tag and Hellion goes back to the attack on Holt. Hellion picks up Holt and hits a standing neckbreaker as Ki continues asking for the tag. Hellion shakes his head and pins Holt. One.. Two.. Holt gets the shoulder up.
The crowd doesn't seem to appreciate Hellion ignoring the tag request. Hellion walks over towards Ki and tries to explain things to her. Ki just shrugs her shoulders and tags herself into the match as the crowd pops. Holt gets back to his feet and Ki spears him down to the canvas. Ki hits right hands to the head as Holt tries to cover up. Holt gets back to his feet as Ki continues to punch away. Ki goes for an irish whip. Holt counters the whip and whips Ki to the other side. Ki almost collides with Hellion. Hellion tags himself back in as the crowd boos again. The referee starts to yell at Ki to exit as Hellion runs into a powerslam from Holt. Holt gets back up to his feet and starts laughing at Ki before pinning Hellion. One.. Two.. Hellion kicks out. Holt picks up Hellion and hits a snap suplex into another pin. One.. Two.. Hellion gets the shoulder up as Holt hooks the leg. One.. Two.. Hellion kicks out.
Holt gets back up as he taunts Hellion to get back up. Hellion slowly gets to his feet as Holt hits a russian legsweep. Holt looks out to the crowd and calls for the Jellyfish Tentacle. The announcers note that he's been using his submission move more often lately as Holt turns Hellion around and goes to lock his legs. Hellion tries to fight but is almost locked in. Holt almost has the submission on. Ki charges into the ring and Holt with a clothesline! The referee yells at Ki to get out of the ring. Ki shoves the referee out of the way and Holt floors her with a hooking clothesline. Hellion is trying to recover as he slowly gets to his feet. Holt turns around as Hellion is getting back up. Hellion turns around and Holt drops him with a DKO! Holt covers Hellion. One.. Two.. Three!

Ki Morbid looks up at Dustin Holt when she finally comes to the realization that Hellion was pinned off the DKO. A group of referees make their way out as one of them informs Ki of what's going on. Hellion is slowly recovering as another referee tells him that he has to leave ringside. Hellion is livid at the referees and somewhat at himself that he's put Ki in this position she's in. Ki doesn't look too worried even though Holt looks ready to strike. Hellion has finally left ringside as Ki has recovered. Holt continues to look on as the referee calls for the bell.

Xtreme Champion Dustin Holt vs Ki Morbid - Five Minute Challenge
Holt taunts Ki to attack as Ki just shakes her head and continues to circle around. Ki finally charges as Holt sidesteps and shoves her down to the canvas. Holt looks amused over all this. Ki is getting pissed at Holt for him taking her so nonchalantly. Ki gets back to her feet and slaps Holt in the face as the crowd pops. Holt looks shocked as Ki dares him to strike.
Holt shakes his head in disgust before walking away. Ki starts to yell at Holt again. Holt turns around and big boots Ki in the face. Ki falls hard to the canvas as the referee looks stunned. Holt starts yelling at Ki for taunting him. Holt turns Ki around and calls out for the Jellyfish Tentacle. The announcers don't know what to say at this time as Holt looks to put this one away before the five minutes are even up.
The crowd starts to stir as Women's Champion Ashton Storm has made her way out. Ashton runs down to the ring as Holt lets go of Ki and starts yelling at the referee to do his job. Storm hops up on the apron and tries to get into the ring. The referee holds Ashton back as Holt calls for a DKO on Ki. Holt waits for Ki to get back to his feet when the crowd pops again. Robert Mastro dives over the crowd railing and slides into the ring behind Holt. Mastro turns Holt around and goes for a swing. Holt ducks the swing and hits a DKO on Mastro! Holt yells at Mastro before kicking him out of the ring. Ashton hops off the apron as the ref orders her to the back.
Holt shakes his head over all this nonsense before walking back over to Ki. Ki pops up off the apron and drops Holt out of nowhere with a Spike Spinebuster! Ki covers Holt and hooks both legs. One.... Two.... Three! Ki just pinned the Xtreme Champion!

Bob Levy is standing by backstage with the Women's Champion, Ashton Storm.
Levy: "Ashton, what exactly was your reason for coming out during the Dustin Holt vs Ki Morbid Five Minute Challenge? Is angering the Xtreme Champion really something that you want to do?"
Ashton: "You wanna know why I did that Bob? It's simple. I've had many battles with Ki Morbid where she pushed me to the limit just as much as anybody else. I have much respect for the fact that she's been a complete professional as far as her losses go to me. She hasn't bitched or complained at all about it unlike one of Dustin's old buddies Alexis Diamond. So I find it funny that I run Alexis out of here and here comes another one of Holt's friends Rachel Manning. If Manning wants a piece of this.. I'm not too hard to find Bob. Holt disrespected Ki tonight and I was not about to stand for that."
Dustin Holt and Rachel Manning walk into the picture. Ashton takes a step back for a moment. Ashton attempts to hold back laughter.
Holt: "You think this is funny? You think this is some kind of a joke? Me losing to some down south redneck like Ki is no joke! You know something Ashton?"
Ashton: "What is it Dustin?"
Holt: "Everything is fine."
Ashton: "Excuse me?"
Holt: "Yeah. Everyone out here might think that just because I was smacking around some hoe like Ki that I wouldn't have a problem with smacking you around but.. I don't cheap shot people Ashton. I don't cheap shot people just because.. Their brother is not in the arena tonight. That's not my style. My style is inside the ring. My style is beating scrubs like your brother Devilyn so I talked to Lars and.. Next Showdown? Dustin Holt and Rachel Manning versus Devilyn and Ashton Storm."
The crowd pops. Rachel steps in.
Rachel: "He might not do anything but.."
Rachel slaps Ashton in the face. Ashton grabs Rachel by the hair as the two of them have a scuffle on the ground. Security runs over to them to break things up.

Main Event: World Champion Rage vs Tag Team Champion Michael Dargue - World Championship
Ladder Match
Ride the Lightning plays as Michael Dargue makes his way out with the tag team title wrapped around his waist. The crowd continues to cheer on as Dargue points towards a ladder that's in the eisleway. Before he can go any further however, Rage attacks him from behind. The crowd starts to crap all over Rage who starts hammering away at Dargue's back. The announcers mention that Cliff Saxton is still recovering from his match and is not around to help his partner.
Rage tosses Dargue back into the ring as the referee calls for the bell. Rage steps through the ropes and makes his way towards Dargue. Dargue tries to get up but gets smacked in the back again. Rage hits another forearm smash and grabs Dargue by the throat. Rage picks up Dargue and tosses him into the corner turnbuckle. Rage charges in and hits a running clothesline that floors Dargue to the canvas. The ref checks on Dargue to make sure he's okay and Rage shoves the referee out of the way.
Dargue gets back to his feet and kicks Rage in the midsection. Dargue hits another kick and runs off the ropes. Dargue ducks a clothesline. Dargue springboards off the second rope. Rage catches him in midair and drops him down with a front slam. Dargue clutches his back in pain as Rage slowly gets back to his feet. Rage starts stomping away at Dargue's back before kicking him in the face. Rage kicks him in the face again. Rage hits another boot as Dargue rolls to the outside. Rage climbs out of the ring and waits on the apron for Dargue to get back up. Dargue gets on one knee and tries to catch his breath. Rage continues to wait. Dargue staggers back up and turns around. Rage runs and dives.. Dargue catches Rage in the midsection with a standing dropkick as the crowd cheers on.
Rage falls over from the dropkick as Dargue looks over towards the entrance way for the ladder. Dargue walks over and grabs the ladder as he picks it up and tosses it into the ring. Rage starts to get back to his feet. Dargue sees Rage recovering and charges towards him. Rage ducks low and goes for a backdrop. Dargue front flips onto his feet off the backdrop attempt. Rage turns around and clotheslines Dargue in the back of the head. Rage picks up Dargue and tosses him back into the ring. The crowd continues to cheer for Dargue who is looking for a rope to pick himself up with. Rage walks over and grabs a hold of Dargue again. Dargue hits a kick to the stomach. Another kick. Another kick. Dargue runs off the ropes and hits a hard clothesline that staggers Rage. Dargue runs off again and Rage catches him with another clothesline.
Rage looks down towards Dargue and just shakes his head with disgust. The announcers can't believe that Dargue has even lasted this long as Rage walks over towards the ladder. Rage grabs the ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring as the crowd tries to get Dargue back into this match. Rage starts the climb on the ladder. Dargue gets back to his feet and sees that Rage is halfway up. Dargue runs up to Rage and grabs him by the foot. Rage tries to stomp Dargue in the head but loses his footing. Rage falls off the ladder and Dargue catches him with a Samoan Drop. The announcers are besides themselves as Dargue slowly gets back up. The ref continues to look on as Dargue slides to the outside and looks for a steel chair. Rage is already back up to one knee looking around to see where Dargue is. Dargue slides back into the ring with a steel chair in hand.
Rage turns around and Dargue goes for a swing. Rage blocks the chair with a right hand but that stuns him at the same time. Dargue sees an opening and hits Rage in the head with the chair! Rage falls to one knee before getting back up again. Dargue hits him again with the chair as the crowd is on their feet. Dargue yells out towards the crowd and runs off the ropes with the chair. Dargue goes for a flying chairshot to the head. Rage ducks under. Dargue turns around and Rage grabs him by the throat. Dargue kicks Rage in the midsection. Kick, kick, kick, kick.. Rage breaks the hold and staggers back. Dargue grabs the ladder and smacks Rage in the head. Rage staggers onto the ropes. Dargue grabs the chair and charges. Rage swats the chair out of the way and grabs Dargue.. Rage runs Dargue to the other side of the apron and pulls him back in. Dargue's legs are hanging on the second rope as Rage is thinking DDT. Dargue pulls his feet out from the ropes and backdrops Rage to the outside. Rage lands on his feet. Dargue launches himself over the top rope and goes for a huracanrana. Rage catches Dargue off the attempt and is thinking Straight to Hell powerbomb. Dargue hits a punch, punch, punch, Rage is staggered. Dargue ranas Rage into the ring steps!
The crowd continues to look on as Dargue looks up towards the World Title that hangs above the ring. Dargue slides back into the ring and sets the ladder up. The announcers keep yelling for Dargue to go for it. Dargue slowly starts to climb up the ladder as the crowd is losing it right now. Rage is still nowhere to be seen as Dargue goes up another rung. Dargue steps again as the title is getting closer and closer now. The camera pans over as Rage is sliding back into the ring. Dargue has his hands up high. He has his fingers on the World Championship. Dargue reaches again and he's got a hold of the title. Rage knocks the ladder out from under Dargue's feet as Dargue is dangling above the champion. Rage kicks the ladder over a couple inches as Dargue continues to pull at the belt. Rage grabs Dargue by the foot and goes to pull him off. Dargue starts to yell as the crowd is besides themselves right now. Rage pulls one more time. Dargue slips off the belt.. Rage catches him and hits a Straight to Hell powerbomb on the ladder! The crowd starts chanting 'holy shit' as Rage mock kicks dust over Dargue's head.
Rage rolls Dargue off and picks the ladder up before standing it up in the middle of the ring. The crowd has deflated at this time as Rage continues to climb up towards the World Title. Rage reaches up and starts to unhook the belt. Rage has the belt at this time as the referee calls for the bell.

Rage looks down towards Dargue who is still out from the powerbomb on the ladder. The crowd is applauding Michael Dargue's gutsy effort tonight before the camera cuts to a video playing on the big screen. Lars Douglas appears.
Douglas: "Good job tonight Rage. Bravo! Bravo!"
Douglas claps his hands.
Douglas: "Adkins had me think of something earlier tonight when he questioned why you weren't out there after he laid out Lucente with an End on Five. I kinda wonder that myself seeing everything I've done for you but.. We'll talk about that later. Time to play match maker!"
Rage continues to look on.
Douglas: "Well seeing tonight that you defeated Michael Dargue and seeing tonight that Mark Adkins defeated Cliff Saxton. I think it's fair to say that we have.. Number one contenders for the tag team titles! So next Showdown.. We're going to have. Wrestling's Made Men Michael Dargue and Cliff Saxton defending their titles against World Heavyweight Champion Rage.. And the Xtreme Icon, Mark Adkins! God if I was a chick I would totally do me!"
The screen cuts out as the camera fades to black.
