Scene cuts to "A Look Back" at 3:00 PM this afternoon. The XWF was in downtown Chicago, for a press conference to deliver the big news to the waiting fans and media.
Lars: As of this morning, we have tabulated the results for the site of XtremeMania 9. The fans have voted and made their voice heard!
People are heard cheering as Bear is spotted just over Lars's shoulder.
Lars: Faced with nine international choices. The XWF audience has chosen Milan, Italy at the San Siro stadium as the next destination for XtremeMania.

Lars: Which means in 2014, we will be hosting this great event, XtremeMania 9 at the San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy! Thank you to all who voted and we hope you enjoy what we have in store for you tonight, as well as next year.
The scene fades as we go back to Manic and Chico.

Manic: Fans coming up next is a match that none of us thought we would ever, EVER, see again.
Chico: You're not kidding with that one.
Manic: XtremeMania 2 was over a decade ago and at that time "The Crippler" Chris Benoit was the dominant force here in the Xtreme Wrestling Federation. That run came to a halt at the hands of "The Elite Savior" Carlos Shotgun.
Chico: Benoit had an extended absence before him and Shotgun squared off but lets not kid ourselves here. "The Crippler" was the man in the earlier years of this company.
Manic: And tonight we get to see the biggest rematch ever in the XWF.
The camera fades to a video package played to "By Crooked Steps" by Soundgarden.

Benoit: You say ask God for mercy because you don't have any.
Quick shot of Benoit walking towards the ring.
Benoit: Well in that ring, I am God!
Footage of Shotgun in his dressing room at XtremeMania 2 lacing up his boots. More footage of Shotgun as he's leaning up on a wall, eyes closed.
Benoit: I have been North American Champion, Intercontinental Champion, Universal Champion and World Champion at the same time and I was so good I never lost the damn titles. Go keep ripping off movies and show everyone that you have creativity and I'll show everyone why I'm a God! If you got a problem with that, then prove me wrong!
Shotgun makes his way towards the curtains looking focused. Misfits hits the arena as Shotgun makes his way out. Cut to a shot of Benoit and Shotgun circling around the ring as Vince McMahon calls for the bell.
Shotgun: Benoit is merely the beginning. I will burn his life away. I’m going to burn his house, I’m going to burn his car, I’m going to kill his whole fucking family. I’m going to rape that bitch of a wife Nancy Sullivan.
Benoit pushes Shotgun into the turnbuckle.
Shotgun: Benoit doesn’t know who he is fucking with.
Shotgun throws Benoit down.
Benoit: Shotgun needs to realize that this isn't a movie.
Benoit grabs Shotgun and hits a German Suplex off the top rope.
Benoit: This is real life.
Shotgun tries for a right hand. Benoit catches it and locks in the Crippler Crossface! Shotgun is slowly crawling as he gets his foot on the ropes. McMahon breaks the hold.
Shotgun: This was supposed to happen a year ago but Vince didn’t allow it. I was good. But now I’m better. When we get in that ring I will break his heart, spirit and soul and I will prove once and for all.
Benoit and Shotgun get up and charge after each other. They both clothesline each other before falling down on the mat.
Shotgun: I am the best wrestler in the whole world.
Shotgun has Benoit up in the air. Shotgun connects with the Bullet Bomb as Benoit lands on the chair!
Shotgun: Thank you very much.
Shotgun makes the cover and Vince makes the pin. One, two, three! Shotgun wins!
Garcia: The winner of this match, Carlos Shotgun!
Ross: You can love him or hate him but you can't deny the fact that Carlos Shotgun beat Chris Benoit for the one, two..
The footage and audio from XtremeMania 2 fades out.
- 2013 -
The lights go out and when they return there is a man standing on the top rope wearing full riot gear and riot helmet. He looks down at Shotgun as the fans erupt.
Chico: Who is that?
The man extends his arms and leaps off into a headbutt with the helmet that nails Shotgun right in the head immediately busting him open. Shotgun rolls around the ring in pain as he man extends his arms and looks at the fans. The man stands over a bleeding Shotgun and does the cut throat gesture. He pulls off the helmet and looks at the camera and the place absolutely explodes.
Benoit: It feels good to be back.
Manic: Holy shit!
Benoit stands in the ring looking down at Shotgun with a smile on his face.
Benoit: I didn't realize how much I missed being in the XWF and it's fans until I actually returned.
The fans explode as Benoit looks around with a confident smile on his face.
Chico: It’s Chris Benoit! He has been gone since XtremeMania 2!
Benoit: I had thought that there was nothing left for me to do. I had won every title there was to win. Never lost the Universal and World Title. I beat all of the greats. I came back for a match with Shotgun and had high hopes for him so I gave him the opportunity to step in the ring with me. Then Shotgun beat me.
Benoit walks up the ramp and stands on top where he looks at Shotgun one more time. Shotgun is seen bleeding trying to get to his feet.
Benoit: Shotgun turned into a joke.
The crowd looks up in the sky as a helicopter reading flys overhead. As the helicopter starts lowering down, we see Shotgun with a glass of wine in one hand and a whore wrapped around his arm.
Worley: A Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist!
Benoit: He got lazy.
Shotgun turns around as William Knighthawk delivers a huge lowblow. Knighthawk hits the Cradle Piledriver as Shotgun is dropped. Knighthawk hooks the leg as the referee counts one, two, three!
Benoit: I started watching him and I realized I couldn't end my career losing to Shotgun. I need to beat Shotgun and I need to do it at the biggest stage of them all.
An overhead shot of the United Center is shown. We cut to a shot of Lars Douglas is on the microphone.
Lars: XtremeMania 8, Shotgun will be fighting.. Chris Benoit!
The fans explode as Shotgun looks angrily at Lars.
Shotgun: Benoit should had stayed away. He wants to get into my business?
Shotgun sneaks into the ring. Shotgun hits Benoit with a kick to the midsection and drops him with a Bullet Bomb.
Shotgun: I have no idea why everyone received Benoit with arms wide open. Why the hell is everyone so god damned giddy about him? The only reason Benoit returned is me. The XWF deserves a hero, someone they can look up to as a role model.
Shotgun stands on top of Benoit and looks down with a cold stare while raising his arms high in the air.
Shotgun: I’m a trend setter. I’m the best. You became an overnight sensation because of me, and after XtremeMania you will become an even bigger sensation after I make you my own personal bitch.
Shotgun grabs Benoit’s legs and applies the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring.
Shotgun: There must be an explanation as to why everything he speaks is nothing but complete crap. When I’m through with Benoit he will be broken and lying on the floor with his bullshit brain pouring out of his head. Let’s face it, the world needs me.
Benoit has Shotgun locked for a German Suplex. Benoit hits the suplex and maintains the hold.
Benoit: He is going into this match with the wrong mindset. He wants to pop jokes about me having shit for brains.
Benoit drops Shotgun with another German Suplex while maintaining the hold.
Benoit: Bulletbomb Woman's ghost.
Benoit drops Shotgun one more time with a German Suplex.
Benoit: And talk about my dick. Well none of those things have anything to do with our match.
Benoit picks up Shotgun before taking him down with a Crippler Crossface.
Benoit: I killed my wife and kid. I got tired of that nagging bitch constantly saying I made the wrong choice picking you. Then my kid started doing drugs because of you. Their blood is on your hands and your blood will be on mine tonight.
Benoit pulls Shotgun's head back in the Crippler Crossface.
Benoit: I have been called The Rabid Wolverine, The Best Damn Technical Wrestler In The World, The Toothless Wonder, The Standard. Hell, even Murderer but tonight, I will be known as the Best Ever. I am the Canadian Killer, Chris Benoit and Shotgun, don't plan on making Iron Bong 4 because you won't be alive to see it. I can't be saved, Mr. Elite Savior and I may go to hell one day but after tonight, I will be seeing you there.
Shotgun kicks Robert Downey Jr in the midsection and Bullet Bombs him on the floor.
Shotgun: In the end none of this will matter. Chris Benoit, only one thing is for sure. By the end of XtremeMania you will have to beg God for mercy, because I won’t have any.
Shotgun and Rob turn around and look at the luxurious hotel in Chicago.
Shotgun: I’ve come to realize I was always destined for this greatness. After I walk out of XtremeMania victorious the world will know once and for all who the greatest of all time is.
The video package completes as we go back to ringside.

"The Crippler" Chris Benoit vs "The Elite Savior" Carlos Shotgun
Danielle Worley is standing by in the center of the ring.
*ding* *ding* *ding*
Manic: This is it Chico. The time has arrived.

The camera pans to a shot of the capacity crowd on hand. "Back in the Saddle Again" by Aerosmith cues over the United Center as the fans are on their feet. Chris Benoit makes his way through the curtains to a huge ovation.
Manic: Listen to this crowd! Chris Benoit is back at XtremeMania!
Chico: Benoit did not come back for that feel good moment! He did not come back for the crowd response or a nostalgia trip! He came back to reclaim his spot at the top that Shotgun took from him over a decade ago.
Benoit continues his way down the aisle as various shots of the crowd are shown holding up Benoit signs.
Worley: Making his way down the aisle from Toronto, Ontario Canada. Weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty pounds.."The Crippler"..Chris Benoit!!
Benoit enters through the ropes and pumps his arms high up in the air as cameras flash from all directions.
Manic: You can say what you want about this man on any other day Chico. Tonight at the United Center in Chicago, these fans want to see Benoit kick some ass.
Chico: You can feel it in the air. This match, this rematch could not come at any other show besides XtremeMania.
Benoit turns his attention towards the ring as the crowd awaits Shotgun's arrival. The crowd continues to wait.

"Do the Evolution" by Pearl Jam cues up as we get another eruption from the crowd. It's a loud mixed reaction of boos and cheers. Carlos Shotgun makes his way through the curtains with a huge smile on his face.
Manic: There he is!
Chico: The Elite Savior!
Shotgun gestures towards the camera to get a close up shot of him. Shotgun points to the ring.
Shotgun: I am going to kick, Benoit's..BUTT!
Shotgun continues down the aisle.
Worley: Making his way down the aisle from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Weighing in tonight at two hundred and twenty five pounds.."The Elite Savior"..Carlos Shotgun!
Shotgun stands on the floor next to the ring as Benoit paces back and fourth like a rabid wolverine. Shotgun walks around the ringside area while giving high fives to the fans.
Manic: Shotgun has taken an interesting turn in his career. There are many who have not been pleased with him however there are that many more that he's won over with his change in attitude.
Chico: He's still one of the toughest stars ever to step into the XWF ring. Nobody will argue that one.
Shotgun slaps one more hand before walking over towards the announcer's table.
Shotgun: Hold on a second I have to sanitize my hands here!
Chico hands Shotgun a bottle of hand sanitizer. The referee is signaling for Shotgun to get inside the ring. Shotgun tosses the bottle into the crowd before walking up the ring steps. Benoit backs up into the corner with a smug look on his face as Shotgun poses on one of the middle turnbuckles. Shotgun hops off the turnbuckle and turns around as Benoit is face to face with him. Shotgun's theme cuts off as the crowd is still amped.
Crowd: Benoit's gonna kill you! Benoit's gonna kill you!
Shotgun turns his head towards the crowd for a moment.
Shotgun: Don't give this murderer any bright ideas!
Benoit decks Shotgun in the face with a right hand as Shotgun staggers back.
*ding* *ding* *ding*
Manic: Here we go! It's on!
Benoit hits another right. Shotgun nails Benoit with a right. Both Benoit and Shotgun exchange rights and lefts in the center of the ring as the crowd is going nuts.
Chico: Listen to this crowd!
Shotgun gains advantage staggering Benoit with a kick to the midsection. Shotgun goes for a clothesline as Benoit counters by grabbing the arm. Shotgun twists around to free his arm from Benoit's Crossface attempt. Benoit hits a hard chop. Shotgun hops in place while clutching his chest.
Manic: Did you hear that one?
Chico: I can't hear you Manic. That chop was so loud that I just went deaf!
Benoit hits another hard chop that makes Shotgun cringe.
Shotgun: Fucker!
Benoit hits another hard chop that knocks Shotgun down to the canvas.
Chico: Shotgun goes down hard!
Benoit picks up Shotgun and sends him into the corner. Benoit hits a hard right, another hard right, another hard right. Shotgun blocks a right and grabs Benoit before tossing him into the corner. The referee continues to yell at them to get it out of the corner. Shotgun sits Benoit down with a snapmare before firing off a kick to his back. Benoit crumples to the canvas as Shotgun goes for a cover. One..Benoit gets the shoulder up.
Manic: Pin attempt there for a one count. This one isn't quite done yet.
Chico: You're right about that one Manic.
Shotgun picks up Benoit by the hair. Benoit breaks free and leg trips Shotgun before attempting a Sharpshooter. Shotgun immediately grabs the ropes as the referee yells at Benoit to break it up. Shotgun slides out of the ring and takes a walk towards the rampway.
Manic: Where's Shotgun going? Has he had enough already?
Chico: Appears that way.
The referee continues his count at three..Four..Benoit slides out of the ring and runs towards Shotgun. Shotgun turns around and gives Benoit a thumb to the eye before knocking him down with a clothesline. The referee is at six..Seven..Shotgun stops the count sliding halfway into the ring before going back out. Benoit is still on the ground as Shotgun picks him up and sends him into the guardrail.
Manic: Not enough, not quite yet.
Shotgun tosses Benoit back into the ring. Shotgun slides into the ring and goes for a cover. One..Two..Benoit shoots the arm and shoulder up. Shotgun grabs the arm and transitions into a hammerlock. Benoit tries to twist his way back to his feet but Shotgun keeps the pressure on.
Manic: You have to imagine for as long as Benoit has been out of action that Shotgun will have the advantage the longer this match goes.
Chico: Yeah but Benoit is a machine Manic.
Benoit gets back to his feet before countering the hammerlock into a drop toehold. Benoit goes for a Crippler Crossface as the crowd pops.
Manic: Benoit going for it again!
Shotgun forward rolls back to his feet as Benoit decks him with a chop to the chest. Benoit hits Shotgun with another chop that floors him. Shotgun has his back arched up in the air as Benoit stomps him in the midsection. Benoit hits a quick standing elbowdrop and follows that up with mounted punches to the head. Right, right, right, another hard right. Shotgun is trying to cover up as the referee is yelling at Benoit to open the fists up.
Manic: Benoit is going to town on Shotgun here!
Chico: Shotgun needs to create distance or this one will be over quick.
Shotgun backhands Benoit in the face to stun him slightly. Benoit moves to the side as Shotgun rolls away from him. Shotgun gets back to his feet and goes for Benoit before taking a kick to the midsection. Shotgun returns the favor with a kick to Benoit's midsection. Shotgun hoists Benoit up for a vertical suplex. Benoit knees Shotgun in the head and lands on his feet to counter. Benoit follows that up with a snap suplex before going for a pin. One..Two..Shotgun gets the shoulder up. Benoit covers again and hooks the leg. One..Two..Shotgun kicks out before the three.
Manic: Only a two!
Chico: That was close there. One of those times where you try to surprise the opponent for a quick three count.
Benoit picks up Shotgun and whips him into the corner. Benoit waits for a moment before charging in. Shotgun sidesteps as Benoit hits the corner shoulder first.
Manic: Benoit missed the charge!
Shotgun grabs Benoit by the head and twists him around. Shotgun hits a Russian Legsweep sending the back of Benoit's head into the second turnbuckle as the crowd pops.
Chico: Bong Hit connects!
Manic: Oh my god!
Shotgun cannot capitalize immediately as Benoit is flat on his back.
Manic: Shotgun was simply trying to buy some time here but he used all of his energy to drive the back of Benoit's head into the turnbuckle. This could do it here if he can get a pin!
Shotgun finally recovers and goes for a pin. The referee checks Benoit's shoulders and counts. One..Two..Benoit gets the foot on the rope.
Manic: Two count only!
Shotgun pulls Benoit away from the ropes and goes for another pin while hooking the leg. One..Two..Benoit kicks out before the three.
Manic: Not over yet!
Chico: How in the hell is Benoit even aware of where he's at right now?
Shotgun rolls Benoit over and slaps on a front facelock. The referee is checking to make sure that it's not a choke as Shotgun applies additional pressure.
Manic: After that devastating Bong Hit even a simple move like a front facelock isn't doing Benoit any favors here.
Chico: Shotgun trying to buy some time though planning his next move.
Shotgun knees Benoit in the head before sitting Benoit on his rear end and applying a headlock. Benoit is trying to pull Shotgun's arms apart. The crowd is rooting Benoit on. Benoit gets to one knee and tries to slip out. Shotgun lets go of the hold and bodyslams Benoit back to the canvas before applying the headlock once again.
Manic: Benoit was about to mount some offense there and now it's back to square one. Shotgun very intelligent move trying to wear down the opponent. Once again this match favors the Elite Savior the longer it goes.
Benoit is starting to fade a little bit before shaking himself awake. Shotgun keeps the pressure applied as Benoit tries to get back up once again. Benoit is on one knee as Shotgun is shaking his head in disbelief. Benoit gets back to a vertical base as he twists free and drops Shotgun with a belly to back suplex. Both men are on the canvas as the referee starts a ten count. Two..Three..The crowd is cheering both competitors on as the referee is at five..Six.
Manic: Benoit needed this moment to catch his breath but this is giving Shotgun time to recover also.
Chico: Who will take advantage first?
The referee is at eight..Nine..Shotgun is back to his feet first as he makes a move towards Benoit. Shotgun goes for a right hand. Benoit blocks and hits a right. Shotgun goes for another right that gets blocked. Benoit hits another hard right. Benoit with another right that sends Shotgun to the ropes. Benoit whips Shotgun off the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Shotgun ducks the clothesline and goes off the other side. Benoit knocks him on the canvas with a hooking clothesline to a huge pop.
Manic: Shotgun just got dropped!
Shotgun gets back to his feet as Benoit makes a move. Shotgun connects with a headbutt that hurt him more than Benoit that time. Benoit cracks Shotgun in the head with a headbutt. Shotgun staggers away as Benoit whips him off the ropes. Shotgun gets flipped onto his rear end with a knee to the midsection.
Manic: Benoit in complete control here Chico!
Chico: Shotgun can't take too much more of this here. Anymore and this match might be over!
Benoit throws himself towards Shotgun and grabs him by the waist. Shotgun is trying to break Benoit's grip but cannot. Benoit picks Shotgun up before dumping him backwards with a German Suplex.
Manic: German Suplex!
The crowd is going nuts as Benoit maintains his hold and picks Shotgun up again. Shotgun flails his arms at the ropes but gets dropped with another German Suplex.
Manic: Again!
Chico: How many more does the Crippler have in store?
The expression on Shotgun's face tells the whole story as Benoit will not let go. Benoit picks Shotgun up again. Shotgun elbows Benoit in the head and breaks free before spinning around. Shotgun launches Benoit backwards and drops him with a German Suplex to a huge pop.
Manic: Shotgun just returned the favor!
Shotgun maintains the hold and picks Benoit back up. Benoit tries to break free and goes for an elbow. Shotgun lets go and ducks the elbow as Benoit spins around. Shotgun grabs Benoit and hooks him. Shotgun drops Benoit with a T Bone Suplex. Both men are down on the ground as the crowd continues to stir.
Manic: Shotgun just took Benoit down with the T Bone Suplex but he cannot capitalize!
Chico: After getting cracked in the head from the Crippler plus German Suplexed? Not a big surprise there Manic.
Shotgun rolls Benoit over and hooks the leg with authority. The crowd is chanting along with the count. One..Two..Benoit kicks out before the three.
Manic: Only a two!
Shotgun looks over at the referee slightly stunned as the referee tells him again that it was only a two count. Benoit is still on the canvas as Shotgun gets back to his feet. Shotgun paces around the ring for a moment before grabbing Benoit by the legs and looking out to the crowd.
Manic: Are we going to see a Bullet Shock here?
Shotgun goes to apply the Sharpshooter before Benoit counters with a quick small package pin. The crowd chants along with the pin. One..Two..Shotgun kicks out. Both men get back to their feet as Shotgun goes for a swing. Benoit ducks the swing and hits a Bridging German Suplex. The referee counts. One..Two..Shotgun kicks and rolls out but Benoit maintains the hold.
Manic: Only a two! Benoit not done yet!
Chico: Benoit will dump Shotgun on his head over and over if that's what he has to do.
Benoit picks Shotgun up. Shotgun breaks Benoit's waistlock. Benoit switches to a full nelson and dumps Shotgun backwards with a Dragon Suplex. Benoit gets back to his feet and does the cutthroat gesture before blowing a snot rocket onto Shotgun.
Manic: Benoit is looking to put this one away right now!
Benoit walks through the ropes and starts to climb the turnbuckle. The referee starts a five count as the crowd is on their feet. Two..Three..Four..Benoit leaps off the top for the diving headbutt. Shotgun rolls out of the way as Benoit faceplants on the canvas.
Manic: Benoit went for everything and got nothing out of it!
Chico: Oh he definitely got something out of it. Probably another concussion!
Shotgun rolls Benoit over and hooks the leg. One..Two..Benoit kicks out again. Shotgun gets back to his feet looking agitated at himself before taking a deep breath and going towards the corner turnbuckle.
Manic: What is Shotgun thinking about doing next?
Chico: Would've thought we would see a Bullet Bomb by now but maybe he knows that Benoit is expecting that. Benoit knows Shotgun will want to use that at some point. It's just a matter of time.
Shotgun looks over towards Benoit who is slowly getting back to his feet. Shotgun thinks twice about climbing to the top turnbuckle and instead grabs hold of the top rope. Benoit staggers back up as Shotgun launches himself for a springboard. Benoit absorbs a crossbody from Shotgun and rolls back into a cover. Hook of the leg as Shotgun tries to break free.
Manic: Shotgun caught Benoit but Benoit countered!
One...Two...Shotgun kicks out before the three. Benoit rolls Shotgun over and immediately goes for a Crippler Crossface as the crowd is going nuts once again. Shotgun is on one knee trying to use leverage to counter as Benoit wants to end this one right now. Shotgun charges Benoit into the corner to break loose.
Manic: Shotgun knew he had to escape and did what he had to do there!
Benoit staggers before turning around and taking a kick to the stomach. Shotgun sets him up and looks to the crowd before lifting Benoit high up in the air.
Manic: Shotgun going for the Bullet Bomb here!
Shotgun runs forward for the Running Sitdown Powerbomb before Benoit slips off the shoulders. Shotgun hesitates for a moment trying to figure out what just happened.
Chico: Benoit broke free!
Shotgun turns around and goes for a right hand on Benoit. Benoit ducks low and grabs the arm taking Shotgun down to the canvas. Benoit locks on the Crippler Crossface as the crowd is losing it right now.
Manic: Crippler Crossface! Benoit has it locked on!
Chico: Shotgun went for the Running Powerbomb to the center of the ring and that costed him big time there!
Manic: Middle of the ring! Shotgun has nowhere to go!
Benoit: Tap you son of a bitch!
Benoit has a death grip on Shotgun as he pulls back on the Crippler Crossface. The referee checks in as Shotgun is looking to see where the ropes are. The referee keeps asking Shotgun if he wants to give it up. Benoit pulls back once again. Shotgun shoots his free arm forward before with his hand open towards the ropes.
Manic: Shotgun doesn't want to end this one yet!
The crowd is still going nuts as everyone is on their feet. Shotgun tries to will himself towards the ropes as the referee continues to look on. Benoit looks like a mad man at this point. Shotgun extends his arm out one more time before grabbing a hold of Benoit's ankle. Shotgun starts to crank pressure on the ankle as Benoit breaks the Crippler Crossface. Benoit tries to roll free as Shotgun has an ankle lock applied.
Manic: Shotgun countered the Crippler Crossface I can't believe it!
Benoit gets to a vertical base and goes for an Enziguri kick. Shotgun ducks low as Benoit hits on the canvas hard. Benoit staggers back up as Shotgun lifts him high up in the air and drops him with an spinebuster. Shotgun grabs Benoit by the legs and twists around into a Sharpshooter.
Manic: Shotgun has the Bullet Shock! Benoit is in trouble here!
The crowd is stomping and clapping for Benoit not to submit as Shotgun pulls back on the Sharpshooter. Benoit has his hand up in the air as the ropes are almost within arms reach. Shotgun is shaking his head in disbelief as he maintains the hold.
Manic: Benoit just has to reach a little more to get to the ropes.
Chico: Easier said than done Manic!
Benoit reaches the ropes as the crowd pops. Shotgun refuses to let go as the referee starts the five count. One..Two..Three..Four..Shotgun releases the hold.
Manic: Benoit is still alive!
Chico: Did you just say that?
Shotgun picks up Benoit who was trying to get back to his feet. Benoit gets a quick go behind and grabs a waistlock. Shotgun holds onto the ropes as the referee yells at Benoit to let go. Shotgun swings backwards and elbows Benoit in the head.
Manic: Benoit is staggered!
Benoit turns around and takes a kick in the midsection. Shotgun thinks for a moment before looking towards the turnbuckle. Shotgun grabs Benoit by the head and sets him up for a powerbomb. Shotgun lifts Benoit high up in the air and launches him into the corner with a turnbuckle powerbomb.
Manic: Shotgun hits a Bullet Bomb on the goddamn top turnbuckle! Oh my god!
Chico: This one is over Manic.
Benoit crumples to the canvas. Shotgun smiles for a moment while soaking in the crowd response before pulling Benoit to the center of the ring by the arms.
Manic: Shotgun has this one.
Shotgun lays on top of Benoit. The referee checks Benoit's shoulders to the canvas for the count. The crowd chants along for the one...Two...Benoit gets the shoulder up before the three! The referee signals two as the crowd cannot believe it.
Manic: What!?
Chico: No freaking way! Shotgun hit his move that has put so many people away. It was the move that put Benoit away at XtremeMania 2 but not tonight!
Shotgun blindly stares towards the entrance way as he doesn't know what to do right now. Benoit is still down.
Manic: It was on the damn turnbuckle Chico! How in the hell did Benoit just take a Bullet Bomb on the turnbuckle and get the shoulder up!?
Chico: He should've dropped him onto a steel chair!
Shotgun looks at the referee like he just lost his damn mind. The referee gestures once again that Benoit had the shoulder up before the three count. The crowd is still stirring. Shotgun gets back to his feet and looks over towards the turnbuckle. Benoit is still on the canvas. Shotgun mocks Benoit's cutthroat gesture before spitting blood out onto Benoit's face.
Manic: Disgusting. Then again not really sure if getting a snot rocket blown on you is any better!
Shotgun climbs through the ropes before looking out towards the crowd. Benoit is still out as Shotgun starts to climb to the top turnbuckle. The referee starts the five count. One...Two. Shotgun spreads his arms out.
Shotgun: I..am..Iron Bong!!
Shotgun leaps for a diving headbutt. Benoit moves out of the way as Shotgun faceplants onto the canvas.
Manic: Missed! Shotgun missed!
Benoit grabs a hold of Shotgun's arm and wraps his leg around it. Shotgun tries to fight but Benoit locks on the Crippler Crossface.
Chico: Crippler Crossface! Benoit has it on again!
Shotgun tries to roll out of it but Benoit maintains the hold.
Manic: Shotgun went to break free once again but he just rolled himself to the center of the ring!
Benoit pulls back as the crowd is going crazy at this time. The referee checks in as Shotgun tries to swing his free arm in any sort of direction. The referee continues to look on as Shotgun's hand falls down. Shotgun starts to dig his nails into the canvas. Benoit pulls back even more.
Chico: Shotgun can't take much more of this here! Benoit wants to rip his head off!
Shotgun cliches his fist before shooting his arm out blindly reaching out to grab anything. The United Center crowd is losing it right now. Shotgun raises his hand up in the air. Shotgun taps out.
Manic: Shotgun tapped! Shotgun tapped out! It's over!
Shotgun continues to tap as the referee calls for the bell.
Chico: Good god!
*ding* *ding* *ding*
The crowd is still cheering on as Benoit still has the Crippler Crossface locked on. The referee yells at Benoit to break up the hold. Benoit finally lets go of Shotgun who's face first on the canvas. Danielle Worley stands by to announce the winner.
Worley: The winner of this match by submission.."The Crippler"..Chris Benoit!!
"Back in the Saddle Again" by Aerosmith plays throughout the United Center as the referee goes to raise Benoit's hand high up in the air. Benoit shoves the referee away before looking down towards Shotgun who is still on the canvas.
Benoit: Feels good, doesn't it!?
Benoit walks to a corner before climbing onto the second turnbuckle. Benoit pumps his arms high up in the air as cameras go off all over the place.
Manic: It's been over ten years Chico since the first time these two squared off. We all wondered if Benoit still had what it took to get the job done in the ring. There's no argument after this match tonight on whether or not he still has it.
Benoit exits the ring as Shotgun pulls himself into the corner while resting on the ropes. Shotgun looks at the referee with a look of disbelief on his face. The referee shrugs his shoulders and does a gesture with his hand signalling a tap out.
Chico: Not really sure what Shotgun is arguing about. The whole world just saw that Benoit made the Elite Savior tap out at XtremeMania 8.
The camera cuts to a panning shot of the crowd as Aerosmith continues to play.

Manic: What a match we just saw ladies and gentleman. We're not done yet however. While Shotgun and Benoit had a battle to decide who the better man between the two are, our World Champion has shown since King of Xtreme 2012 that he is THE man in the Xtreme Wrestling Federation.
Chico: Oh my god Rage has been on a path of destruction. He's proven to everyone that he deserves the World Championship that is currently in his possession
Manic: Tonight however may be his toughest task to date. Tonight he faces off against a man who not that long ago wasn't even on the radar. At Xtreme Battle Zone, Crazy Kanook became the number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title. Who was the last guy he beat? Pike Lorenzo.
Chico: Rage versus Crazy Kanook is going to be a war.
The camera fades to a video package played to "I'm Broken" by Pantera

Rage: You know something Kanook, I want to start off by making sure you know what you’ve gotten yourself into.
Rage is shown powerbombing Carlos Shotgun, and destroying Michael Dargue in a ladder match.
Rage: I’m not some average run of the mill champion, I’m not just another wrestler, and I’m damn sure not like anyone you’ve faced in the past.
Rage boots Chris Falkenyork and clotheslines The Original.
Rage: You have to understand, you will be fighting for the XWF World Heavyweight Title, at XtremeMania 8, against RAGE.
Rage kicks Original in the midsection and sets him up. The crowd is up and watching as Rage lifts Original high up in the air. Straight to Hell powerbomb connects again! The crowd pops huge as Rage goes for the cover and hooks the leg. The referee checks the shoulders down. One...Two...Three!
The footage cuts straight to Crazy Kanook speaking now.
Kanook: So Rage thinks he can stop me from taking that precious title from him?
Kanook is shown winning the Tag Team Titles with Blaze Rodriguez. He's shown beating up on The Original.
Kanook: Well you had better think again Rage. Think long and hard about this because you are about to step into the ring with the most dangerous man you have ever faced.
Kanook is shown taking it to Mike Dimter and Kazadine, as he beats them both.
Kanook: You are about to come face to face with the man who is going to take that title from you. The man that is going to tear you apart. I WILL BE THE NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! There is nothing that you can do to stop me Rage. NOTHING!
Rage and Kanook are shown face-to-face.
Kanook: He will have a lot more respect for me when I have had my hand raised as the NEW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION.
We cut to a clip of Rage chokeslamming the Kanook!
Kanook: For all intensive purposes you may as well address me as the World Heavyweight Champion because Rage has already lost.
Rage: It looks as if the flavor of the month the Crazy Kanook has actually decided to make this a fight.

Rage: I love the fact that on the biggest stage of them all, I get to have a real fight with someone who will take me seriously.
Rage chokeslams Original at Jaded, he chokeslams Shotgun at King of Xtreme.

Kanook looks over his shoulder.

Showdown clip plays. Both men go crazy hitting each others with lefts and rights as Lars comes out with a large group of refs and staff workers. Everyone races down to the ring trying to keep each men apart.
Rage: You see to deserve something like this belt you have to be leaps and bounds better than the rest.
Kanook: I am coming straight for you. And I am not going to back down until you have been declared the loser of this match and I walk away the champ.

Danielle Worley is standing by for ring introductions.

Worley: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and it is for the Xtreme Wrestling Federation, World..Heavyweight..Championship!

"Oddities" by Insane Clown Posse blares over the United Center as the crowd is ready for more action.
Manic: You think the crowd is tired yet?
Chico: You kidding me? Not by a long shot.
The Crazy Kanook makes his way through the curtains as the Chicago crowd explodes. Kanook stands at the entrance way turning his head from left to right as the camera pans the arena. Kanook is sporting a brand new XWF t-shirt with "Crazy Kanook" on the front and "He's Pretty Hardcore" on the back.
Crowd: Next World Champ! Next World Champ! Next World Champ!
Kanook nods his head agreeing with the crowd chant as he does the championship title gesture around his waist.
Manic: There's one thing for sure. We're either surrounded by people who love Canadians or there's a bunch of Juggalos in attendance here tonight!
Kanook continues his way down the aisle.
Worley: Making his way down the aisle is the challenger. From Edmonton, Alberta Canada. The number one contender to the World Heavyweight Title and one half of The Jager Bombers. The Crazy Kanook!!
Kanook enters the ring and pumps his chest before pointing in every direction as the crowd pops once again. The lights dim down as Kanook's theme cuts out. The crowd continues to cheer for a couple more seconds. The camera cuts over towards the entrance way. Nine Inch Nails is on hand for a live rendition of Rage's theme song.
Manic: Look familiar?
Chico: Just like King of Xtreme Manic. If Rage brings his "A" game like he did at that show, Kanook is in for a very long, very painful night.

"Only" by Nine Inch Nails plays through the United Center as "The Modern Day Monster" Rage makes his way out to huge heat.
Manic: There he is!
Chico: The Modern Day Monster!
Rage continues his way down the aisle as a spotlight follows him down.
Worley: Making his way down the aisle from Cleveland, Ohio. He is the Xtreme Wrestling Federation, World.. Heavyweight.. Champion. "The Modern Day Monster", Rage!!
Rage enters the ring to more boos. Kanook has his eyes locked on the championship title as Rage hands the belt over to the senior XWF official Jack Evans.
Manic: Rage doesn't care about entertaining the fans Chico. He's all about business, regardless of who his opponent is.
The crowd is amped up once again and ready to go as the referee calls for the bell.
*ding* *ding* *ding*
Manic: Here we go!
Rage goes for a charge but Kanook sidesteps him. Rage charges in again and Kanook ducks out the way. Rage gets frustrated and goes for a big boot but then Kanook dives for his leg and takes him down in to a pin. One..kick out! Kanook gets up and looks Rage over. Rage gets to a knee and charges for another boot. Kanook ducks and Rage gets hung up on the top rope. Kanook backs up and goes in for a clothesline. Rage grabs him by the throat and steps over the rope ready to deliver a chokeslam. Kanook hits his arm twice and then tackles him to the ground. Kanook with a right, another right, another right. Rage rolls him over and starts firing off rights of his own.
Chico: Rage living large! Taking it to the challenger.
Rage headbutts him then brings Kanook in for another vicious headbutt. The fans give him heat as he backs up to his feet and then boots Kanook in the chops. Kanook rolls over in pain and Rage gets down to extend Kanook's leg back towards his spine. Rage reaches down under Kanook's chin and starts bending him backwards.
Manic: My god! He might snap the Crazy Kanook in half.
Chico: Rage isn't playing around tonight, no.
The referee ask him if he wants to quit.
Kanook: No!
Rage lets go of him and backs to the ropes before rushing forward and punting Kanook in the ribs. Kanook keels over and Rage goes to bend over to pick him up for a powerbomb.
Chico: Straight to Hell coming up!
Kanook sandbags then rolls Rage over in to a small package. One... two.. Rage kicks out!
Manic: Exactly what the Crazy Kanook will have to do to win this one. Out smart Rage, catch him napping and score the victory out of nowhere!
Chico: There's more than one way to skin a cat, ever hear of that saying? Well, there's more than one way to beat Rage, Kanook's just got to figure it out...
Both men to their feet and Kanook backs Rage up to the ropes and delivers a chop.
Fans: Wooooo!
Kanook goes for another chop but Rage wraps both his hands around his neck and then tosses him in to the corner instead. Rage unleashes shots in to his ribs and an uppercut that almost takes Crazy Kanook over the top rope. And another deadly uppercut! Rage pulls Kanook down and irish whips him to the opposite corner. Rage rushes in and collides in to him with a clothesline!
Manic: My goodness!
Rage picks Kanook up by two hands again and places him on the top turnbuckle. Rage goes to setup for a superplex but Kanook blocks it and forearms Rage off of him. That only buys Kanook a couple seconds. Rage approaches again with a right, another right, hard uppercut connects. Rage mounts the turnbuckles and sets Kanook up. Superplex connects!
Chico: Ay caramba!
Rage goes for a cover. One.. two.. shoulder up! The fans cheer as Kanook rolls to the outside apron.
Chico: Kanook has the right idea. Got to stick and move with the Modern Day Monster.
Rage walks over to the ropes and picks Kanook up by his hair. Kanook struggles for a second. Kanook suddenly grabs Rage by the back of the head and drops his neck straight across the top rope! Kanook hops off the apron for extra leverage and the fans cheer trying to get the challenger back into this one.
Manic: Smart move.
Kanook rolls in the ring and is met with a big boot out of nowhere! Rage goes for a cover and gets the one.. kick out! Rage looks stunned. He goes to pick Kanook up again. Kanook rolls him up in a Small Package! One.. kick out! Rage gets mad and goes for Kanook who gets him with a drop toe hold. Kanook then jumps across his spine, delivering a double stomp! Kanook turns Rage over for the one.. two.. shoulder up.
Manic: Only a two!
Kanook picks Rage up off the ground and connects with a backbreaker. Kanook covers. One.. two.. Rage gets his shoulder up again. Fans starting to clap and trying to get behind Kanook. He backs up against the ropes and goes for a swinging neckbreaker. Rage counters out of it and wraps his hand around Kanook's throat. Rage delivers a huge chokeslam as the crowd cannot believe it! Rage covers Kanook and hooks the leg. One.. two.. Kanook kicks out before the three!
Chico: What?!
The fans can't believe it and neither can Rage.
Manic: How in the hell did Kanook just kick out of that?
Rage shakes it off and picks Kanook up by the throat. He goes for a chokeslam. Kanook hits a kick, another kick, another kick! Rage breaks his grip. Kanook runs off the ropes and hits a shoulderblock. Rage barely moves. Kanook goes off the ropes again and hits a flying shoulderblock that knocks Rage down. Rage gets back up and goes for a swing. Kanook ducks it and hits a Samoan Drop! Kanook steps to the outside apron and walks over to the corner. He mounts the top turnbuckle from the outside and waits for Rage to get to a knee. Kanook attempts a double ax handle. Rage catches him with kick in the midsection. Kanook is staggered as Rage tucks his head between his legs and calls for a Straight to Hell powerbomb.
Manic: If Rage hits this one it's going to be over!
Rage lifts Kanook high up in the air and smashes him to the canvas with a Straight to Hell powerbomb. The crowd doesn't like the look of this as Rage just shakes his head in approval.
Manic: Straight to Hell! Kanook is done!
One.. two.. Kanook gets his foot on the rope! The crowd pops.
Manic: Kanook is still alive can you believe it!?
Rage argues as the referee tells him it was only a two. Rage kicks the bottom rope in frustration and the fans egg him on.
Chico: You know Rage wanted it that way. Rage asked for just a regular ol' standard match. He didn't want a Three Cages of Death match or any kind of stipulation attached. Just mano-y-mano and that rope break might prove to be the deciding factor in this main event.
Rage picks Kanook up by his head and just lets him stand there, all staggered. Rage toys with him, with shadow boxing and fake jabs.
Manic: Kanook can barely stand here.
Rage then goes for a haymaker. Kanook ducks it and grabs Rage by the waist. Kanook hits a German Suplex to a huge pop.
Chico: He's not done yet!
Kanook maintains his hold on Rage. Kanook muscles Rage off the ground and he nails a second German Suplex! Kanook goes for a third and Rage elbows out. Rage goes for a chokeslam.
Manic: Kanook can't take a third one right now.
Kanook elbows out and hits the overhead Release German Suplex to an insane pop!
Manic: Kanook hit the damn Freeze Out! This could be it!
The Crazy Kanook hooks a leg and gets the one... two... kick out! The crowd just lost it there as everyone thought that was it.
Chico: Wow!
Manic: Has anyone ever done that? Has anyone ever kicked out of the Freeze Out?
Chico: I don't think so Manic. It's won Kanook a lot of matches in his career!
Kanook immediately goes for a Crossface. He has it locked in and the fans are all on their feet!
Manic: The Ice Over is locked on!
Rage digs down deep and crawls for the ropes. He is finger tips away and finally reaches the ropes! Fans begin booing as the ref forces him to break the hold. Kanook stands to his feet and looks frustrated. He starts to stomping away on Rage. Rage ties himself up in the ropes as the referee counts Kanook off.
Chico: Ref better back off. Kanook looks like he's bout to snap!
Kanook goes back in to put the boots to him more. Rage tosses him thru the ropes and brings the match outside. Kanook goes for a right. Rage blocks. Kanook tries one more but Rage blocks again and drills him with a headbutt. Rage puts a forearm in Kanook's throat and forces him against the barricade, before an inside knee shot to the ribcage, and a nasty uppercut. Rage rams Kanook's head first against the ringpost.
Chico: Ouch!
Manic: The referee still counting. He's on "five"... if it's a countout, Rage will retain.
Rage then whips Kanook in to the steel steps and his back smashes against them! Fans give Rage heat but he rolls in the ring and breaks the count at "seven" before going back to work on Kanook.
Chico: What's he doing here? He could just have had Kanook counted out.
Rage picks Kanook up and rushes him all along the outside ring apron, that reads "XtremeMania VIII" and tosses Kanook in to the barricade wall head over heels. Kanook crashes hard and Rage doesn't stop there. The crowd just pours heat on the champion. Rage grabs Kanook and slams him back first against the commentator table. Rage grabs Kanook and slams his back against the ring apron. Rage rolls him in the ring, breaking the "six" count and goes for a cover. One... two.. kick out!
Manic: Rage just whooped Kanook's ass on the outside and still couldn't put him away!
Rage just shakes his head as Kanook is still down. Rage gets back to his feet and picks Kanook up before kicking him in the midsection. Rage lifts Kanook high for a powerbomb but Kanook slips and lands on his feet while grabbing the champion by his arm.
Chico: Ice Over! Kanook wants the Ice Over!
Kanook locks the crossface again to a huge pop.
Manic: Unbelievable!
Chico: Will Rage tap here?
Kanook pulls back on Rage as he has it locked on tight in the center of the ring, a little blood trickling from his forehead. Kanook pulls back harder as his face turns red. The crowd wants a tapout as everyone is on their feet in the United Center!
Manic: Rage in some serious trouble here!
Rage starts crawling as Kanook loses his grip. Rage reaches the ropes and the ref forces him to break the hold. Kanook is refusing. He pulls back tighter and Rage's hand still grabbing on to that bottom rope. The ref counts him off and finally Kanook breaks the Crossface. Kanook talks it over with the referee and pushes him aside. Kanook charges as Rage catches him with a powerslam.
Manic: Out of nowhere!
Rage pins him for the one... two.. Kanook kicks out! The fans go crazy. Rage can't believe it. Rage stands up and makes a throat slashing gesture. He goes to grab Kanook by the throat and then tries to boot him in the stomach. Kanook grabs the leg to block and hits a Dragon Screw legwhip! Rage staggers back to his feet in pain as Kanook hits another Freeze Out!
Manic: Freeze Out again! This has to be it!
Kanook crawls over and puts an arm over his chest. One... two.. Rage kicks out! Fans are stirring, everyone on the edge of their seats. Kanook is down as the place is going crazy right now. Kanook wastes no time and locks in the Crossface.
Chico: Rage is in some serious trouble here Manic!!
The United Center is pulling for Kanook all the way. He is wrenching back on Rage who has his hand raised in the air. He has him near tapping and then Rage pulls and claws across the mat. Rage reaches the ropes. The fans are emotionally invested at this point.
Chico: Rage escaped again how is he doing this!?
Kanook picks Rage up and goes for a suplex. Rage blocks and boots him in the face. Rage calls for a Straight to Hell and Kanook wiggles out and lands on his feet. Rage turns around, and Kanook chop blocks him in the knee and takes him down. Fans are cheering! Kanook backs up against the ropes. Rage sits up as Kanook hits a rolling neck snap. Rage tries to sit up again and Kanook hits a seated dropkick!
Manic: Kanook just doing whatever he can at this point!
Kanook starts going up top. Rage sits up again and crotches him on the corner.
Chico: Kanook wanted high risk and Rage is having none of it!
Rage grabs Kanook off in position for a powerbomb.
Chico: Straight to Hell coming up!
Rage holds him up high in the air and then drops him in the center of the ring!
Manic: Straight to Hell powerbomb!
The crowd is deflated and shocked at this point. Rage gets down and covers him up for the one... two... three!
Manic: It's over!

Rage collapses over as "Only" by Nine Inch Nails plays over the United Center. Danielle Worley is standing by.

Chico: Did you see that ending? It was like Rage was a man possessed. The Modern Day Monster was not to be put down. Not tonight. Not at XtremeMania 8. He rose from the ashes. This veteran, this Hall of Famer. Rage is the most feared man in the business for a reason. Count on it! No one is going to beat him this year. Nobody!
Rage holds the World Title high, as he looks down at Kanook.
Manic: He's beat Shotgun, Falkenyork, he outlasted The Syndicate, and now the man, the underdog, the wildcard so to speak. Here comes Kanook, fresh off a Tag Team Title reign. The man who won Xtreme Battle Zone! This guy gave it his all. He had it all. The World Title match of a lifetime in the palm of his hands. XtremeMania 8, the stage was set. But Rage, he was the more dominate competitor. No denying it.
Chico: No doubt about it. I mean, these two guys faught their asses off. It showed! They gave it their all and Kanook just wasn't good enough tonight. And I don't see anyone being good enough. At our next Pay Per View "Hell on Earth", I feel sorry for whoever gets in the ring with this guy. Let it be known, Rage doesn't mess around. He doesn't play around and my man, Kanook.. Just found that out the hard way.
Kanook is finally moving as he sits himself up in the corner. Rage stands in the center of the ring holding the World Title in the air once again.
