The camera switches to the backstage area. World Champion Carlos Shotgun is standing by with Bob Levy. Shotgun appears to contemplating many thoughts in his head as he slips on his wrestling boots.

Bob Levy: Champ.. Nobody is quite sure exactly what Chris's motives are. I'm not even sure of what it is myself. Any thoughts going into tonight's main event?

Carlos tightens his laces while looking up towards Bob who's just standing there. Carlos stands up off his seat and reaches over before placing the World Championship on his shoulder. Carlos walks off without saying a word.

Bob Levy: Okay.

We cut to another shot backstage where President Lars Douglas is speaking with somebody on his smartphone. We hear a loud knock as Douglas ignores it. The knocks do not stop and eventually Michael Dargue makes his way in.

Lars: I gotta go.

Dargue: Did you see what happened out there earlier?

Lars: First off who the hell are you?

Dargue: Who am I? I'm the next XWF World Champion that's who I am! I'm undefeated!

Lars: Michael, I know who you are. Next World Champion? We'll see. You know who I am?

Dargue: Yes you're...

Lars: I'm the boss Dargue!! You barge into my office again and it'll be the last thing you do!! Now that we have that out of the way, what's the issue?

Dargue: Did you see my match earlier?

Lars: No, sorry I went to the restroom. Ever since I got to this country I've had a mean case of the shits. Must be the water.

Dargue: Dimter and Stevenson jumped me and Ward before the match even got started! I want Dimter in an Xtreme Rules match tonight!

Lars: Sorry Michael but that's not going to happen. But, what I can do for you.. You might like this actually.

Dargue: Yeah?

Lars: Yeah. Dimter made a... Special, request. That he stays in tag competition. And since you and Ward were both jumped I'm sure Ward might want in on this also. So at the NYC Showdown it's going to be you and Greg Ward versus The Eliminators!

Dargue: Ward? Ward isn't going to help me any!

Lars: Honestly I don't even know if Ward can help himself right now. That's my final offer Dargue. Besides, if Ward doesn't show up for this match... He's FIRED! Now get out of here.

Dargue exits the office.

Lars: Next World Champion...

TTC The Ray of Darkness vs The Happy Go Luckies - Tag Team Championship

Give a little more by Maroon 5 begins to play and the big screen shows a dancing rainbow butterfly before the words “Pump YOU  Up!” are shown. Glitter falls from the ceiling as The Happy Go Luckies, Ace and Gary walk out in front of the sold out crowd to a loud reaction.

Danielle: Introducing first from San Francisco, California the challengers… “Ferocious” Ace and Gary… The Happy Go Luckies!

Jim Ross: The controversial Happy Go Luckies making their return to the XWF.

Lawler: Look at these guys JR. They are covered in glitter!

The Happy Go Luckies enter the ring and continue to dance before removing each other’s robe. They start stretching awkwardly as chants of “FAGs” start up.

JR: The Go Luckies have developed quite a following along the years King.

Lawler: The Friends of Ace and Gary are definitely in attendance.

Monster by Skrillex begins to play as the arena goes completely dark. A single ray of light shines down on the entrance right where The Ray is standing with the XWF tag team title. An explosion goes off and the lights return revealing Dark Stranger alongside Lady Gaga. All three of them make their way down to the ring.

Danielle: Making their way to the ring the reigning XWF Tag Team Champions… The Ray of Darkness!!!!

Jim Ross: The Ray and Dark Stranger became the tag team champions at Xtreme Mania. They put The Wrecking Crew on the sidelines. They are young. They are hungry and they want to keep those XWF Tag Team Titles.

Lawler: The Ray of Darkness have a lot of upside JR but The Go Luckies have been in this business for a very long time. They have been tag team champions multiple times. They have stepped in the ring with legends from different eras.

Jim Ross: Well there’s no doubt in my mind they have the experience factor going for them King.

The referee takes the tag belts and shows them to the crowd before ringing the bell and officially beginning the match. The Ray and Gary start it off in center ring. Gary motions The Ray to stop and looks around at the crowd. Suddenly he turns his back to The Ray and stands still.

Lawler: What the hell is going on here JR?

Jim Ross: Both Ace and Gary are experts in getting hit from behind King.

The Ray looks at Gary confused almost not knowing what to do. He nails a knife-edge chop to the back and Gary giggles as the sold out crowd plays along.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Ray undeterred hits him again harder and louder and Gary continues to giggle.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The Ray utters “are you serious bro?” before quickly tagging in The Dark Stranger. Dark steps over the top rope and rushes into a running clothesline from behind. He proceeds to stomp Gary down enraged before motioning to the crowd.

Jim Ross: The monster is unleashed!

Stranger picks up Gary by the hair and hits him with an Atomic Drop. Gary screams in pain and tries to run away but Stranger grabs him and throws him down to the ground. Stranger tries to hit a boot to the head but Gary rolls to the side and tags in Ace. Ace comes in via the third rope as he launches himself right into Stranger into a cross body block. Stranger holds him and goes to slam him but Gary drop kicks Ace’s back causing Ace to fall on top of Stranger into a pin.

The referee counts 1………………………………………...,2…………………………………………….…………. Stranger pushes Ace off him and sits back up clearly angry. Ace hits him with a couple of kicks on his way up but they don’t seem to have much of an effect. Dark Stranger gets all the way up to his feet and Ace starts to clobber him with lefts and rights. Stanger pushes him down to the ground. Ace gets back up and tries another combination. Stranger fires back with a headbutt that sends Ace down to the ground.

Ace backs up towards the turnbuckle away from Stranger. Stranger stands in front of him imposingly and growls at Ace. Suddenly, Ace charges at Stranger with a shoulder block right into the knee. Stranger staggers as Ace follows up with another shoulder block to the other knee. Stranger is trying to hold up but Ace slingshots off the ropes into a drop kick. Stranger is rocked back but he manages to stay on his feet. Ace has enough and does a twirling spin kick that connects right on Stranger’s chin. The monster is down.

Jim Ross: Stranger is in trouble! Stranger is in trouble!

Lawler: What kind of move was that?

Ace immediately pins The Dark Stranger. 1………………………………………………………………….. 2…………………………………………………….………… The Ray enters the ring and stomps Ace’s head to break up the count. Gary rushes into the ring and clotheslines The Ray over the top rope. The Ray manages to land on his feet but Gary launches himself to the outside into a suicide dive and connects right on target. Ray and Gary fight on the outside while Ace goes to the top rope and screams “I’m a butterfly!”. He dives off and nails a beautiful senton splash right in The Dark Stranger. Ace hooks the leg and he covers 1……………………………………………………………………….. 2………………………………………………………………………..

Lawler: Did he get him?

…………………….kickout! Ace is stunned as The Monster continues to show signs of life. Ace gets to his feet and tries to get his composure when suddenly The Dark Stranger sits up with fire in his eyes. Ace kicks him but Stranger just absorbs the blows and gets to his feet. Ace punches him but Stranger puts his arm around his throat and signals for the end. Ace tries to break free but Stranger gets him up and drops him down with The Darkness.

Meanwhile on the outside Gary whips The Ray right into the steel guard railing. The Ray bounces off it awkwardly and holds his chest in pain. He sees Stranger in the ring signaling for the end as he picks up Ace. Immediately Gary slides into the ring before Stranger can get Ace in position for the Darkness Falls. Stranger drops Ace and lunges at Gary with a clothesline. Gary ducks and is joined by Ace as they both proceeds to double team The Dark Stranger with lefts and rights. The Monster tries to hit them but they are too fast as they back him into the ropes. Ace and Gary charge at him at the same time but Dark Stranger counters with a double clothesline with authority sending both men rolling to the outside.

Jim Ross: What is it going to take to keep this monster down?

Ace and Gary begin to recover when The Ray attacks them both and throws Ace back into the ring where Stranger plants him with a sidewalk slam. The Ray sends Gary into the steels steps and goes over to his corner and asks for the tag. Stranger tags in The Ray to a pop from the live crowd. He starts motioning to the crowd and calls for the Ray of Light. The fans are buzzing as Ace gets up and The Ray leaps. Ace pushes him off before he can connect and hits him with a wild twirling kick that catches The Ray completely off guard. Both men drop to the ground and they seem to be out as the crowd starts coming alive.

Lawler: Where did The Go Luckies learn to twirl like that JR?

Jim Ross: Ace got lucky there. Seems like he swung wildly and actually connected. He might have knocked out The Ray out cold!

Gary has recovered as he returns to his corner and awaits the tag. The fans start chanting “GAY” enthusiastically which seems to bring both Ace and Gary back to life. The Ray is slowly waking up and starts dragging himself to the corner. Ace is slowly crawling to his corner as Gary is screaming at him to make the tag. Almost simultaneously they get the tag and in comes Stranger and Gary. Gary lunges at The Dark Stranger and he fires back with a clothesline. Gary had him scouted as he ducks and bounces off the ropes. Before Stranger can turn around Gary hits him with a flying shoulder block to the back of the knee which cause the big man to drop down. Out of nowhere Ace pops up and at the exact same time they both deliver a superkick to opposite sides of Dark Stranger’s head. Stranger falls back and seems to be out cold as the crowd erupts.

Lawler: I can’t believe it!!!!

The Ray rushes to the ring and gets hit with simultaneous twirl kicks by both Ace and Gary. Without wasting any time they both quickly climb the ropes on the left and right side of Dark Stanger and put their fists up in the air.

Jim Ross: They are going to double fist The Dark Stranger right here in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil!!

The Happy Go Luckies leap simultaneously and nail the double fist drop right on target. Ace and Gary both pin Dark Stranger from opposing sides each hooking opposite legs. 1………………………………………………………………………………………… 2…………………………………………………….

Out of nowhere Mike Dimter and Kyle Stevenson enter the ring and attack Ace and Gary simultaneously. The referee immediately signals for the bell to ring. Dimter and Stevenson throw Ace and Gary out of the ring and deliver a double elbow drop on The Dark Stranger before kicking him out of the ring as well.

Jim Ross: What the hell is this? Where did this two come from?

King: It’s The Eliminators JR!

Jim Ross: They have no business out here King!

Danielle: The winners of this match as a result of a disqualification…. The Happy Go Luckies!

The fans boo The Eliminators as they pose in the middle of the ring. Ace and Gary stand on the outside looking on in disbelief. Give a little more by Maroon 5 plays and the Go Luckies turn their frowns upside down and high five each other and start dancing at the top of the ramp. The Eliminators stare at them from the ring and so does The Ray of Darkness who stand on the outside with their titles in hand still XWF champions.
